Jimmy Holmes (lead singer) made this Ink Spots group what it was but never became famous for it. This of course is not the original Ink Spots but Charlie Fuquas Ink Spots. One track from this album (Am I Too Late) isnt on Youtube for some reason.
I had the great pleasure of perfoming with Harold Jackson back in 1997 when he reformed the ink Spots. We played 1 gig in Burbank. I was the youngest member of the group. What a blast that was. Sadly I could not continue with the group. It was amazing to work with him. He still has that deep voice.
Who is the lead on this? When I came across this I thought it would have been Jim Nabbie. This was one of my favourite Ink Spots combination and I especially love the vocal arrangement on Dreamboat.

This is my absolute favorite so far. I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire was my first love, but this.... This is just brilliant.

Cool! I would love to sing with the Platters. When I lived in Boston, I had an offer to audition for one of the splinter groups still performing.

@singchef wow, what an honor that must've been.
