Chris Columbus was cheesy but thank god he chose a good cast. And thank goodness he and John Williams only worked on the first two. John Williams makes catchy tunes, but nothing emotional and deep.

@quidwitch But those tunes ARE harry potter. And what about that theme you hear whenever Harry thinks about his family, that made me weep in the epilogue! I tend to dissagree when people say his themes are too catchy, maybe so but they're not simplistic.
