@Nightmare5355 You don't need any cheat to beat emerald with a single low level character, just a good strategy and deep knowledge of how materia works. It has also been done with a level 2 yuffie and without cheat. And Ruby can be beaten with a lvl 1 Yuffie. You can acquire Yuffie at lvl 1 in early japanese version then convert your gamesave to make it usable in FF7 international since the regular japanese version doesn't have Emerald and ruby.
dud, no offense, but u did a really good effort back there. But the reason why we fight the midgar zolom before we go to mythril mine is to have the BETA skill. u did not learn the BETA skill. no point in defeating the midgar zolom in lvl 11. :|

Uhh... killing Emerald WEAPON isn't the same as being a master of FFVII. Emerald WEAPON is easy if you just Mime your Limit Break for a few minutes and equip a Counter -> Mime materia combination.

2. Fight with her in your party until you obtain limit break Planet Protector. It'll take you about 6 hours. (Maybe I'm overdoing a little, lets say 12 hours.)
3. With Planet Protector and LB bar filled, go fight Midgar Zolom
4. Cast PP
5. Be happy, because Midgar Zolom can f... off with its Beta! :)

@Syndo If you want that ultimate attack before going to cave equip fire 1/2 and the damage is halved :P best he did to me with lvl 10 party equipped with fire was 600 XD then I use it on him just to spite him lol.

I think he was at least creative enough to come up with a different challenge than usual. I came from his forum post where he said running from every common fight makes the game more challenging.
But why wouldn't you just bio him? Then attack him with a just before he dies, so after he casts beta he poison kills himself.. o.O I tried it with level 18's, curious if it'll work on lower level units...
there are tricks to get away with that. such as back row, giving characters sadness, and other effects that will reduce damage taken. its not impossible. I came very close with level 15's. only a couple hundred more HP and I would have survived.
Cloud's limit was Cross-slash, 2nd of the 1st set, something you can get before fighting the first boss, assuming you wanted to put the sparetime in, and his materia wasn't high leveled at all. Sense, Cure, Choco/Mog, Bio, Enemy Skill's Flamethrower and Matra Magic, all stuff you can get at this point
ok ill give you those i dont speak or read spanish, but what about the immensely low damage the thing does? it would usually do around 400-500 damage per attack to me and im lvl 40! not 11... he cheats in a sneaky way...
@JeremyOrOmega IDK where you got the idea of 6 Megalixirs but he has only 1 and you can get it in Calm. Also everything he has was stuff you could get up to that point in the game.
As for the damage, notice the positioning of the characters. He placed them in the back row (minus Cloud who has the sadness status affect on him). The point of that is characters who are back row will take less damage (but they also do less damage)
word...really not that hard, I did it on lvl 14, i know, "Major difference" but just as easy cuz of the shit wurm didnt have any MP, he cant really kill u...i heal and revive and he has DOT and as long as u have 3 charrs in the begining u can alwaays deal dmg 2 him, its not uberskillz, just a bit of tac. Stil good vid i suppose, but World Record..its all about save and load as much as u can 2 avoid fights..just time consuming..

thats not a challange at all... I beated him with chars at level 13 or something, you just have to pair a fire with elemental in your armor, equip enemy skill materia for that char, put everyone in back row, poison the zolom wait for its hp to drop to 1000 or something, then attack him he will cast beta you learn it bounce it right back at him and he should be done for... throwing few graviballs helps a bit also if you have teaken the time to steal them eariel.
World Record my ass. The very first related video shows a player using a Level 5 Tifa, and ONLY a level 5 Tifa to beat him. This Tifa is under a no materia, initial equipment, no accessory challenge to make your case even worse.

This wasn't impressive, also you must be using a weird version because on every other Final Fantasy VII game I've seen the Midgar Zolom does over 400 damage per bite/attack so yeah, you aren't good because you can beat the Midgar Zolom by going to different cities to fight him later. Ok, could easily be wrong here. Where is the first megalixor you can get in the game. He has one and I don't recall if you have any at this point but thats really the only odd thing i see in here. Everything else seems legit
Yeah this is not really hard at all. The only killer move on this thing is Beta, once you get rid of its MP it's pretty much a sitting duck. Its bite attacks take out almost half your health but it's slow, and it only has around 3000 I think so it wouldn't take to long to kill it.
ahh very nice. I like how you used Barret's Mindblow limit to get rid of all of it's MP so it can't use beta. All in all, this is an easy fight. Bio constantly drains it of HP as you basically stall until it dies. Well done.

I always make sure to get Beta as soon as I'm out of Midgar at about level 9.
Elemental + Fire/Ifrit in your armour without any other materia equipped and sadness on helps a craplot.

1. Where did you get the idea he has 6 Megalixirs?
2. All his limit breaks are level one, and you only need to use the first one 7-9 times to learn the second. Wow, really hard to get.
3. Level 1 Materia is impossibly high leveled? That's funny.
4. If you think that was Climhazzard, you are plain wrong, but it's possible to get Climhazzard and still be on this level.
Summary: Epic fail.

@Ghostspartan83 I get where you're coming from, but I'm sure somewhere in the world someone beat Zolom before level 11...the game had been out for years, and FF breeds perfectionists/fanatics. I think this was justa video of a guy showing off what IS a good job, but not a "World Record". Not that anyone keeps track of everyone in the world's gaming.

This wasn't impressive, also you must be using a weird version because on every other Final Fantasy VII game I've seen the Midgar Zolom does over 400 damage per bite/attack so yeah, you aren't good because you can beat the Midgar Zolom by going to different cities to fight him later. I beat him with the beginning weapons on my first try.

He depleted Midgar Zolom's mana, so it couldn't cast Beta. Hence, he wasn't unlucky, just smart ;)

Ok, could easily be wrong here. Where is the first megalixor you can get in the game. He has one and I don't recall if you have any at this point but thats really the only odd thing i see in here. Everything else seems legit

if you use hyper on your team memebers if makes your limit gauge go up like 10 times faster than it should.
its not cheating either, its a legit item in the game that cost 100gp per item. i always stock up on 99 each chance i get.

Yeah this is not really hard at all. The only killer move on this thing is Beta, once you get rid of its MP it's pretty much a sitting duck. Its bite attacks take out almost half your health but it's slow, and it only has around 3000 I think so it wouldn't take to long to kill it.

I did this level 9/10 by getting Beta off of it after it flicked Red XIII out the fight,then I used it in the next fight.
No proof though, but it really helped me lower its health.

ahh very nice. I like how you used Barret's Mindblow limit to get rid of all of it's MP so it can't use beta. All in all, this is an easy fight. Bio constantly drains it of HP as you basically stall until it dies. Well done.
