well there is clearly some soul in this. but i always consider pole fitness as something graceful and just plain beautiful, well you clearly delivered a great act, but i think the main reason the judges put you in 12th place is because you spend so little time ON the pole.. few tricks, and there for not many things to judge.
I thought the dance was interesting and entertaining. I think a better song choice would have been Micheal Jackson's Thriller rather than Dirty Diana, maybe that would help others understand this better. I liked the character that was played and even though she is a beginner she did a great job and you can tell she has a lot of strength.
Hi! Congratulations on having the opportunity to compete. I loved your routine and the modern dance elements in it. I think there's a time and place for technical perfection and super-advanced holds and movements on the pole, but you'd think that in a competition called "Pole Art" the cinematic and emotional content of the dance would be valued over that. Oh well, you did great. And when you combine your flare for the dramatic with more advanced moves, I bet you'll be unbeatable. Brava!
i thought this routine was very creative and i loved it! very dramatic which is perfect for this classic song! u moved well with the music, i cant believe u came last tho!!! lots of people forget that pole dancing should show individuality own personalities rather than thousands of clones of the same style. keep up with the practice and look forward to seein ur nxt unique vid! :)
Hi Ashta, I found your choreography very creative, and I was charmed to see that the less advanced girls in the competition could also be the most artistic ones ;-) I can't wait to see you again, when you've become more technically advanced, but still full of interesting ideas :-)
Thank you for your kind words :) I knew I'm not yet able to compete at that level but I still wanted to give something different for audience. I've seen so much pole dancing without soul (only trick after trick) and I want keep the soul in my dancing! Now I'm gonna practise couple years and then I'll compete again :)
