  • the down side to this video is in 10 minutes they can have grizzlies and hawks fully upgraded already so better have a back up plan

  • there is a faster way.. Plus ur way vulnerable to ANY rush. Plus a good player would scout u and see a air pad. and 4 wolfs beat 3 vultures unfortunatly

  • It's not a rush if it takes more than 5 minutes.

  • i think cutter is better at rushing a bit 2 supplys then reactor then 2 more suplys then look for supplys to in crease production

  • Do you fucking know what a rush is? It's before 3:00 minutes and tend do use unupgraded (1 tech at MOST, such as warthogs).

    Do YOU know what a rush is? 3mins will get you no units and if it did it would get over powered by covenant leaders. I can get guass warthogs in about 5:30, also you don't have to have 1 tech. Clearly you don't know how to rush effectively

    4 gunner hogs overpower a leader with some micro. A rush is a rush, generally under 3:00. 3:30 at most. What your doing is attacking with a bunch of vulture as quickly as possible, which is a valid ECONOMY BOOM strat, but is not a rush. A prophet with 3 unupgraded jackals is a rush, blessed Imo prophet with 5 DG jackal is already over the limit. Also I appoligize for the language. My brother and I share the same youtube acc.

    Raging Arby would wipe your hogs. Then I just run to your base, making Ghosts along the way to wipe your flamers but saving some rage money incase you make hogs. I Suicide Grunt your Barracks, then Arby can circle the base and stop new turrets/barracks from coming up while I teleport in Suicide Grunts and kill your base.

    Raging Arby: Takes more money to kill the hogs than the other person loses (seriously)

    Making ghosts: You have to make a factory, and around 4ish ghosts. After my flamers are dead, one railgun turret will wipe out all 4 ghosts with25% health left to spare

    Suiciding my barracks and base: totally, but you lose more money than you gain in every case (except for tech 3 and tech 4 reactors). And if I have 3 gunner hogs at your base, I can easily stop any new suiciders from coming.

  • @sundossa wow nice one due that is essentially what i was going to say. I would say though that i would remove the hogs from combat before they suffer any losses andf use them to take hooks and supplies. by the time he got ghosts (if i hadnt killed his base by his time) i would have grenadier and be slaughtering them. in any case you would have less supplies as you wasted them all on rage and your now dead grunts. I will constantly out building damage you wiping out warehouses and your temple.

    ColdShadow, you are the guy that made a "Vulture Rush" video. You clearly don't know the first thing about Halo Wars, and wouldn't know what a good strategy was if it bit you on the arse. Take my advice: stay outta this before you embarrass yourself.

  • @jimmyboyG485 first of all i did not make this video and i would never use ths unless i knew i would get stormed by scarabs. as for a strategy. build supply pad, reactor Queue 3 hogs up use your origninal and any others to grab supplies on the way to your opponents base get another supply pad and gunner. harass your opponents base to slow their economic and military progression. always have hornets/hogs but flamers for covenant cutter-spartanks forge-hornets anders-hogs. 95%success rate...done!

    My three warthogs thwart your suicide plan already. And warthogs own ghosts, easily. Arby can't do jack to a base alone, especially at tech one. I want to play you even though 1 vs 1's arn't my favored match type. Whats your GT? If you can find a buddy maybe ColdShadow3993 and I could fight against you two?

    No, I rage your 3 hogs with Arby before making any Sgrunts/Ghosts. Then I run to your base, and only then do I start bringing in units. I keep the Ghosts at the back of the map, with Arby between them and the hog spawn point os I can rage your Hogs as they come out. I could delay my attack and build a turret to stop you spawning my base, while this would slow my attack down it wouldn't alter the final result.

    Talking about a game play with Halo wars is cheap. It's like playing Poker by calling out what cards you use. Any how, a single turret stops nearly any rush, a specialized turret that correctly counters what the other person is rushing with will completely obliterate your rush.

    1) I send my Arbiter round the blindsopt of your base

    2) I teleport in my army

    3) Your Turret is useless

  • The only good strategy with a Vulture is not to use one.

    That said, this is great for all the people that just have to make uber units.  And the voice is easily understandable, so stop moaning.

  • @jimmyboyG485 thats where your wron g. if I see someone attempting a fast scarab attack i instantly switch from a hog,flamer,hornet attack to making vultures.

    No. Full Wingman Hornets can take out a scarab just as easily, but unlike Vultures they are fast enough to circle the Scarab and dodge its beam. They are also better at killing Engineers and Covie leaders, especially Arby.
