  • THAT TANK IS GOOD FOR NOW BECAUSE THEY ARE STILL SMALL BUT YOU KNOW YOU ARE GONNA NEED A HUGE TANK FOR ALL THOSE OSCARS WHEN THEY GET BIGGER

  • you know one oscar can grow to a foot!!!!!!!!!!!! one oscar wont fit in that tank, not to mention 7!!!!!!!

  • @SailingMoominmama

you cant to mach aquaristiXX .. get home ale loose...., look at this TANK !? Perfect ! but when they grow in a YEAH , he will be must lost 5th of them.. only 2 of them will be there 4ever. so let them grow in this beautiful TANK

  • Under the sea? This fish lives in the AMAZON.

  • @muscleandtan no way. well aren't you smart.

  • @hippofairy34 yes, I am, tool.

  • can v hve two oscar fishes in an aquarium & will they not fight each other? PLs guys help me out

  • @likhithramesh I had 2 together for many years, they will occasionally have a fight but usually its just a few pecks and they got over it.

I kept mine in small tanks when they were fry but once they got bigger they need to go in a larger tank...I dont believe in scraping bare minimum with such a large specie of cichlid.

  • damn lol, i didnt know they came out with that many strains in the oscar family alreddy

  • i have a 55gal and i have a 36gal in my 55 i have 6 baby oscars,2 pacus,3kenyi chichlds, and pleco

  • great song lol

  • i have 3 oscars and two bala sharks and a pleco and another fish that gets about a foot long all in a 20 gallon tank with all the necessary thing to keep them happy! there all babies so there happy where there at right now and yes in a few months im going to upgrade to a 60 gal and then to a 150+ gal. your fish are fine as long as you get a bigger tank as they get bigger. fish are cool =)

  • how do you get your oscars that red color???

  • @DrummerJohn100.... there probably still all juiced up from the hormones an wht nt tht they put in their water to bring out their adult coloration, it took my two pairs (2 albino red tigers and 2 reg red tigers) almst five er six mons to go from juiced up to dull back to some coloration, their now jus getting back to a little more then half of what it used too

  • oh my god dude how many water changes do you have to do!? thats nuts

  • DUDE you cant just buy a retty fish because you want it. eachof those will get to about a foot. your tank is gonna be barely big enough for them to turn around in!

  • dude those oscars are gonna get BIG!! you should change tanks cause i have one oscar in my 55 gal. and even then, it looks too small

  • Song is tooooo gangsta!!

  • the song should be "under the river"

  • i have a 40 with an red oscar and a sucker fish and it is doing good

  • Wats with the gay fuck in music out and this video would be awesome accept that they need a much much much larger tank

  • oww--man--i--have--six--and--they--are--more--cool--the--thet

  • need a bigger tank...

  • You could not have chosen a better song

  • Those guys look awesome. check out my new tank in my vids buddy. got a 4 oscars in a 150 gallon tank. Need to get some lights in the tanks still but it going good so far. ROCKIN BUDDY.

  • I have 3 tiger oycars in a 125 gallon tank . They are some happy fish. where did you get your blue back ground?

  • pretty tank, but holy shit is it way too small for 6 Oscars you couldnt even have one adult in here.... boy if you dont sort this out they will all die :(

  • haha wicked music, nice coloring on the fish those guys look healthy

  • 55 gallon great for one oscar but any lower and i have to admit thats like abuse if their fully grown. im gonna get a oscar,55 gal and maybe a red eared slider turtle

  • I want fuckin oscars. "UNDA DA SEA" :D

  • i want a crazy stripe tiger oscar

  • 55 Gallon is fine for 1 fully grown oscar Check out mine :P

  • I've got a 85 Gal Chiclid Tank, There are about 5 pairs of African Ciclids which are all about 3 inchs each, What i would like to know is if I can have a Pair of Oscar in there which are about 5 inchs. Would the Oscar harm the cichlids or will the Chiclids Nip the fins of the Oscars considering that Oscar move Slowly.

  • @donbosco225 the south american cichlids like different water conditions than the african cichlids, particularly when it comes to pH and water hardness. Oscars get up to 15 inches and can be very aggressive and territorial. Generally it is recommended to have 75 gallons for a single oscar, but you can get away with 55 as a minimum so you would not have room for even one, let alone 2

  • is it possible to have an oscar in a 42 gallon tank

  • even a 30 gallon is fine for 2 oscars guys... god why do people make shuch a fuss. although this is oevercrowded.. or shouold i say going to be

  • @OmgLowBattery your an idiot.

  • @GraveDigger580 how so?

  • @OmgLowBattery how so ? there is know way u could have 2 fully grown oscars in a 30 gallon tank and even know they may not be fully grown O's grow around 1 inch a mouth till around 10 inchs then slow down but O's can hit a massive 14inch sometimes bigger if u want a healthy O minimum tanks size 55g + 20 g for each additional O. 5x filter turnover for Canister filters 10x for H.O.B & Internal

  • @OmgLowBattery 30 gallons is not enough for 2 Oscars. I agree that you dont need 55 for one oscar or 110 for 2 but 30 for 2 oscars is not enough.

  • Hey dude they're gonna grow big and kill one another

  • idk why people are saying a 55 is good for a oscar. no they need a tank 18 in wide atleast. id rather have a tank that is overstocked than a tank that my fish can't turn around in. check out my vids and see the proof

  • @awinski999

It's not that a 55 gallon can't work. It's just what is more advisable. A 55 gallon CAN house 1 oscar, and yes it will be tight in he width department but doable, and the oscar isn't necessarily going to feel any ill effects from it.

75+ obviously would be ideal and preferable. But saying you CAN'T keep an oscar in a 55 is not true and the oscar will do fine.

  • ...also. I disagree that an overstocked larger tank is preferable to a smaller tank size. If I have an overstocked 75 or 90 gallon obviously I'm dealing with water quality issues, something that is far more potentially harmful to the fish. I'd prefer a slightly small tank with immaculate filtration and water rather than a larger tank with crappy water because it's overstocked.

  • @johnnyphoenix74 um its not that it will get sick. its that the oscars head will bend to one side. some times it goes away and most of the time it doesnt. and a 40 or 50 breeder is cheaper any way so idk why people don't buy them

  • Comment removed

  • taga saan ka? im from bulacan.. hehe

  • wow dude nice fishes really!

  • ive had two oscars in a 30 gallon tank for 2 years and theyre fine....

  • @penthouserocks you have stunt their growth, this can cause a shorter life and many health problems for the fish. do you know how large oscars get; ~25 inches or larger.

I have 4 oscar fish. 2 are 15 inches 1 is 10 and 1 is 3 inches. I recommend you getting your two oscars a much larger tank, and really good filtration.

  • gay ass song lmaoo -__-

  • that 20 gal tank is TOO SMALL for 7 oscars!!!!! too crowded you trippin

  • @chivob123456 I have one Tiger O in a 65gal and that's enough for that tank :)

  • @chivob123456 they're 3 inches bro, watch the video. dude isn't cramming adults in there...

  • @chivob123456 gotta love the guys enthusiasm...i mean he obviously went through a lot of trouble making this video lol hahah

  • get a bigger tank bitch boy

  • 1 Oscar needs at least 55g of water, and a 55g tank would be ok but the dimensions are no good. They are not wide enough for the Oscar to turn around. A 75g tank is better (you can fit 2 Oscars) but a 55 will work for one Oscar

  • Wow you are a true dumbass. For 6 oscars you need at least a 350g tank!!!!! You can't fit even 1 in a 20g tank. I wish I could come and stuff you in a closet and make you live your life in it. And Dlobom, you're an idiot too, that 1 inch of fish per gallon is a general guideline for keeping small fish such as tetras, it doesn't work for large fish like Oscars. If an Oscar is kept in a tank that small his wastes will stunt his growth and his jaw will continue to grow, making him looked deforemed

  • Looks great and try to keep the temp on the lower end for their temperment. Beauts

  • i have an oscar in a 48gal along with many(seriously, many) other fishes.... He's fine, starting to get stunted though and is now 12cm... he hasn't grown much so i need a larger tank... if u keep it in a tiny tank you won't see your oscar all grown up which is bad because i think adult oscars look more awesome...

  • I have an oscar with a green severum in a 45 gallon. The oscar is a year and a half old. The green severum is 4 years old. Don't beleive that you need at least a 55 gallon tank for 1 oscar, but, you will need a bigger fish tank for those fish . They will get MUCH bigger.

  • r u stupid u can have 6 oscars in a damn 20 gallon u cant even have 1 in a 20 gallon

  • Wooow! Cool tank and great Oscars!!!

  • the video is adorable

  • fantastic, well done, have they been brought up all together,

  • NICE OSCARS!

  • I have an oscar in a 25 gal, with 2 pirahnas, and hes fine, and I got a lot more decorations, dont mind all these people, its recomended 55 gal for 1 oscar, but that doesnt mean youre gonna have any problems, just dont over feed it, and start thinking about getting a bigger tank in the next 6 months

  • your only ment to have one oscar in a tank that size not 5 stupid

  • the music's fantastiiccc. beautiful fishh

  • thats gonna end badly

  • HOW COULD YOU DO SUCH A THING??? You know how much space just ONE of these needs? If u have 6 you need at least 160 gallons!!!!

  • Sooooo... what, your capslock button is broken and jammed down? But anyways pretty cool.

  • cool tank. those oscars are going to get BIG fast though.

  • Your tank is much too small. 55 gallons is recommended for just 1 Oscar. 75 gallons for 2, but 90 is better.

  • well maybe he's waiting to upgrade it.

    Cool tank.

  • I'm diggin your "Crazy stripe oscar" lol

pretty much bad ass now i'm going to go out trying to find one just like it

  • your tank is way too small one oscar needs a 75 gallon tank

  • one oscar does not need 75g 55 is fine

  • @ADIOfan8 no a 55 is not wide enough. look at my vids if you think your right

  • @ADIOfan8 65 is a min for 1, 120cm x 45cm x 45cm, but in the wild oscars are normally in a shoal of around 6, so an indoor pond is best....

  • @ADIOfan8 wat about 2? i have a 60 gallon now and my oscars are babies

  • @MrSpeakerguy44

yes, 2 oscars in a 60 gallon is fine.

  • @ADIOfan8 even a 30 gallon is okay at the bare minimum for one oscar. Just have a very strong filter.

  • Nice song.

  • This might sound stupid but can someone tell me what crayfish eat in your aquarium

  • these oscars may get along well right now but i tell you what... they will kill each other if not fight almost every day when they get bigger

  • u from the philippines dude ? where can i buy tiger oscars here ?

  • But we need oxigen..... Respiran muy deprisa.....

  • Your tank is to small

  • u guys and ur tank sizes these people will never be happy just get a 2000 gallon already..btw nice fish

  • haha i like it but i hope your u grading i have has many of these fish they get lazy when there older. so when u upgrade get at least a 150 gallon tank they'll be happy

  • Great fish and tank

but when they get bigger you should be thinking of upgrading your tank =)

  • can i keep an oscar in a 5 gallon tank?

  • No oscar minimum need 55 gallon.

  • your right

  • nope the real minimum is 33 gallons but bigger the better

  • can someone tell me how many gallons my tank is ( 30" LONG X 14" HIGH X 12" WIDE) coz i got ONE 4.5" TIGER OSCAR IN IT AND HOW LONG CAN HE STAY IN THERE FOR LONG?

    P.S NICE TANK

  • @temper1995 You can have up to 1 1inch fish per 1gallon So if you have what sounds like a 30gallon tank your Oscar can stay in there till he is about 25inc or he cant turn around or you feel he can swim and be happy eneymore

  • OMG are you insane? You can maybe have 2 in a 55 jesus crist

  • i must admit, when i was a young hobbiest i overstocked my tank too :(

it takes a lot of self control to realize that your fish will out grow your tank. when u go to return the least favorite of the lot, no one will want them.

  • awsome m8 keep makin vids of it and look at mine 2 plz

  • Nice tank dude love the music to lol.

  • i got 3 baby oscars. Albino oscar, tiger oscar and a orange oscar. is it good to keep them all in a 50 gallon fish tank?

  • i feel sorry for those oscars having small space. you better be changing your water every other day to keep you ammonia level intact.

  • i already new it was a 20 gallon tank its just that it looks like a 40 gallon tank

ps. you just got served you bitchin FUCKER

  • you sluty bitch with a cunty brain you oversized boy fucker. your such a fuckin ass bitch. you badass /fuckass/dumbass/fatass craphole with a fuckin mind full of mother fuckin bitchy boy crapin pussy with a wossy faggot

  • can you not say bad words i am onley 10

  • To meny fish

  • yea they are going to need a bigger tank 1 oscar needs a min of 55 gallon the the genaral rule is 1 gallon per inch of fish not tip to tip but entire body surface area 1 five inch long oscar could be 15"-20" so yea even here they should not be in this tank because the produce mass amounts of waste so the waste to water ratio here is bad

  • ive got 2 now in a tiny tank

  • they all look like tiger oscars...........just keep 1 .they dnt mix well NORMALLY

  • the orange crazy stripe oscar's personality is a lot like my oscar X ]

  • You guys are all mouthing off but all you have to do is wait until they get huge and start to take a shit that will put some humans to shame and then you will see the need for a bigger tank. Good luck though to the video owner. They are very pretty fish.

  • How big is your tank?

  • that looks like a 40 gallon tank man

  • its 20, you tard

  • pare magkano bili mo sa oscar mo?? san ka nakabili??

  • why is there like a bigillion oscars in a 20g tank?!?!

  • Comment removed

  • 55 gal is FINE, if you do frequent water changes. hell 3 gal is fine if you change the water ever 15min. people who say you need bigger tanks only mean you need a bigger tank so you don't have to constantly have to do water changes.

  • damn expect those oscars in this vid to get sick in a few weeks, they wont survive long, 2-3 oscars needs at least a 55 to live, if you do frequent water changes at least every 2-3 weeks

  • why do you even know what you are talking about or are you just repeating what you hear? tell facts not opinions.

  • they are not opinions they are straight facts from oscar fish keepers, in my 55 i already have a severum, green terror, blood parrot, needle gar, bichir, a pleco and an OSCAR, they are all quite small and im starting to see problems with them already such as too much pollution, and territory issues, expect those oscars to killeach other when they grow big if u want them to live together healthy and peaceful get a 6-8 foot tank

  • the reason 4 this is because u hav dffrnt spcies and all r agressive if u ll keep 2 to 4 oscar they wll do jst fine

  • I have a small oscar i think it's not yet a month old

  • hey- just curious where are they today? I have one 3" tiger in a 20 with a 7" plec that i have had for a while also what filtration are you running? thx

  • thats a hell alot of oscars im gonna get a 55 gallon for a grow out tank for 1 tiger oscar 2 silver dollars and a black ghost knife fish.

ur gonna need a 300 + gallon tank

  • u need a much bigger tank than that! x( 7 oscars! hope u plan upgradin a ton! a 55 gallon is good for 2 oscars

  • what gallon aquirium is this pilip1noy because this tank doesnt even look like a 20 gallon tank compared to mine i bet your tank is a 29 or 30 gallon.

  • good vid

  • Guys can we keep Oscar with Jewel Chihlide?

  • No.

  • what type of crayfish is that

as i have a blue crayfish

  • nice tank

screw all those people who say they need 75 gal for a single one

    they dont thats bullshit

  • he might be movin them and ur gonna need a 40 gallon filtration on that add another filter

  • so many Oscar!!!

the size of 1 oscar can reach up to 13 inches (33 cm). you should research first before owning too much Oscar.

it is better if you have a 385 gallon fish tank, that is the better aquarium for your 7 oscars.

  • lol ur going to need 55gx5 oscars=275 gallons for those oscars

  • YUP. Too many idiots out there get oscars without realizing just how big they get... and how FAST they grow!!

Good luck buddy. lol Time to invest in a 300 gal. lol

  • lol i have 1 oscar right now in a 30g little tiny one i kno im going to upgrade they get 1 in. per month

  • i love the crayfish and oscar thing. did the oscar fight with the crayfish or the other way around? cause i would like to get a blue lobster in my 20 gallon oscar tank.

  • yo im doing the same thing i got the Albino a Lithiano(Idk if thats the correct spelling) the Red Oscar an the Tiger Oscar (the black an yellow one) now i want the Black an orange tiger oscar & then what other coulours do i need??

  • bad choice to buy 5 ocars for a small tank u prob didnt know oscars get big around 15" now either u buy bigger tank or fry team n eat them (jokin) giv them bck even for free. nxt time ask how big fish gets

  • Cool song! I keep only one oscar in my 55 gallon. You should do the same: )!

  • make sure that after buying a 6ft x 2ft tank, you also take an AMC from the aquarium shop for maintenance....

  • what's an AMC?

  • Annual Maintenance Contract; Its a contract taken from the Aqarium shops to clean and maintenance your fish tanks...

  • That tank is way way way to small ..

you need 55 gallons of water per oscar ... thats a 330 gallon tank

look to get a few tanks and put them in pairs of 2 per tank

  • you want at least a three foot tank to each oscar on there own as within 18 months they will be getting on to a foot long.

  • i got these babies on April 27th when they were 1 inch long now i dunno what to do with them growing so fast...now they're 3 inches..

  • give them back to a good pet store (not petco) - keep 1 and get a used 55 gallon tank somewhere asap - cool vid

  • invest in a big tank 6ft x 2ft keep a pair of oscars give the rest back -cool vid

  • @PiLiP1NOY man i ave 3 red tiger oscars of 11-12 Cm each i have them from september 2009 now they are not growing so fast...what i can do? i should just wait?

  • @hamsikElavezzi how large is your tank? with oscars get good filtration, clean water, a large tank and feed them every 4-5 hours it makes them grow larger. do at least a 25% water change every week

  • @NaomiHa i use food for turtles hammarus and chironimus 3 oscars how much foos each 5 hours how many GAMMARUS?

  • @hamsikElavezzi food for turtles?

it really depends on your oscars, such as their size. if they are small from 1in-4inches around 3 pellets per oscars every 5 hours. if they are 5inches-8 I would usually double in food and so on. once a week boil some peas and take out the skin and put one per oscar for a heathy digest. you can put in some feeders but dont feed them feeders too often bc fish contain fat and dieases unless you breed your own as me, FF are good exercise for oscars.

  • @hamsikElavezzi I feed my oscars FF at least once a month. keep in mind oscars are carnivores you should feed them wax worms, meal worms, blood worms, mysis shrimp, etc; at least once every other day or so. this also means you should do a 25% water change w the gravel vac every week since they produce a lot of waste, also, clean your filters, and invest yourself one of those heavy duty filters.

  • @PiLiP1NOY

Sell them to people with large enough tanks or look into getting a massive tank or two to house them in! I know this was posted a year ago, but I sincerely hope they are not still in that little tank.

I'm starting my 1inch baby oscar in my 40gal tank. Within 6 months he is going to be going in atleast a 100gal tank. These guys get big and fast! They produce so much waste it is not funny either.

  • @tambostorm thing is people say 55gal for an oscar some say 75gal some say you only need a 40gal so really how do we know

  • @ripstickcamp

You can tell by dilution of wastes, how prone your cycle is to bumps and the concentration of GIHs (growth inhibiting hormones) in the water.

Obviously first your tank needs to be able to handle the bioload and support the fish with a cycle. But even if your tank can do that if the GIHs get to high your fish will be stunted, not grow, and therefore be weak and prone to disease and die.

Its worth getting a water sample tested at a lab for all contaminants so you know if your ok.
