@Pentagrammed It happens alot snowboarding, and I could see it happening here as well. Basically you go for a heelside slide, lean too far forward, and your toeside edge "catches" and bucks you forward (and vice versa)

I longboard, freebord, and snowboard. Longboarding and freebording are two completely different sports. the purpose of freebording is to cross train for snowboarding but in the summer. It has nothing to do with longboarding. plus, girls dig my freebording.

I don't know why people are hating on it, I think it's pretty cool. It's probably a lot easier then sliding, it's more controllable, and more.....versatile at getting around then a longboard, for a beginner, at least.

@SaNiityx Not very good actually. It rocks from one side to the other because the center casters stick further out than the side wheels. it makes it hard to push even on a good straight road. It's not a commuter board.

Well i dont hate freebord,have never tried it, i do longboard, i believe that using this board makes you not notice the amazing feeling of a 4 wheeled stand up slide,the sound of grippy urethane leaving a trail on pavement, the feeling when you got to achieve certain moves after so many tries and slams, i think i would never change that for an easier way to do them, longboarding it is just awesome, i dont know how to explain since english is not my native language.

If it were ever possible to commute with one of these even if it were just by taking the center wheels off I'd definitely get one. The idea of snowboarding on the streets is nice. I love snowboarding during winter but during the rest of the year have my longboard for everything else it's just more practical, plus more time to ride and have fun.

If there were some way to engineer these to better ride long distances in level terrain then that'd be great.

Either way, pretty cool.

How does adding two wheels that rotate freely under the trucks of the board constitute training wheels? If anything they just made longboarding harder. The only thing easier is the effort to stop sideways. This is completely different from trying to slide on a longboard.
