this sound just like my P5 did when I bought it before I cleaned it up and put it on shop air to blow out all the soot inside it I am going to mount it on the top of my truck
I didn't know what you guys ment by, the hood, untill i saw them lol, These babys always come though findlay, Latly they havn't theres been 20-30 some TTX 100Ton boxcars on the line but there engines usally come from lima With about 6 boxcars drop them off at CooperTire head back out to the old Chesse yard Pick up some boxcars and tankers and a few hopers from the querry then head back towards the silos and thorwards lima, Sometimes we get Dash 9's (Its rare) headn to fostaria from the tank plant
This line stops in Lima, Ohio. He'd have to go back to Bellview and down to Columbus to get on the Dayton line. These are in fact SD40-2s, not -3s. I would assume these units are going to stick around for a while since they had a solid white stripe rather than dashed, and an AC put on top without having their noses choped. I would assume that units requiring heavier rebuilding would get the choped nose and the -3 upgrade.
Now THAT's some Southern Railway if I ever saw it right there! Awesome P-5!!!

Old Number #27 It is one of my favorite engines from NW ohio. I like the Rust stain on the other side of the engine its real good.
