Ok I understand how made the back reg, but do you have to apply though that windows 7 CD or DVD, or can you apply the back up reg thought Command prompt on your drive

i have a mac with a partitioned hard drive with windows 7 on bootcamp on its own partition. however i am building a pc and don't want to buy windows again. is it possible to put that partition on a new hdd such that i can have windows 7 without another purchase or preferably w/ out losing my data either?

Would you be kind enough to show where in Windows 7 in the Registry where the Global Interval settings fro Windows Restore, as to make it automatically make retore points every e.g. 330000 seconds ? Please PM me instructions.

why i just read on some article that you just need to import it to backup and double click it to be restore??? or is this a different case???

nice video although microsoft could make things a lot easier by simply putting a registry import section on the main interface.

your average home user is not going to know what to type in to the command window.

if it wasnt for this video most people would not know what to type in.

i would suggest perhaps ERUNT as its user friendly.
