  • the thing i love about this channel is you guys always stay on point with teaching and helping people i see other channels that start off good but once they start getting some views there head blows up and they start a photo critique page on flicker lol. thanks for all the help and tips you guys put out

  • DAMN SHE IS BEAUTIFUL

  • Hey Mark!

I was actually wondering if you were referring to the German language with "rennt", and was very surprised that you actually did! I got my EOS 450D and a flash some years ago and learned most that i know about Photography from your fantastic shows! Thank you very much for your dedication, and beginner friendliness! I nearly never have unanswered questions at the end of an episode, and i love how you explain every step precisely. Greetings from Germany and keep up the good job!

  • what kind of software do you use so that when you move to an area on your tutorial the camera follows you to that spot to show the tool you are working with.

    does that make sense. ;)

  • wish u had just edited it in ps makes life alot simpier

  • can you tell me what is the brand of the small lights that u use? the one with battery pack, is it portable?

  • @syafiqzailan It's the Elinchrom Ranger Quadra Head S Pro Set

  • Great tutorial Mark. I don't have LR, but I do have CS5. I'm sure I could get very similar results anyway. And Elie? Wow! Can you say Angelina Jolie stand-in?

  • What happened to the lens hood?

  • @aizhol LOL, Kelsey caught it.

  • @snapfactory You sure, sounds like she's got butter fingers! :)

  • Once you took that Nikon off the tripod all I could think is "This shit just got real" :D Awesome man thx

  • 11:16 yay lighten blending mode

  • Very cool video - I like it very much and have to try that lens flare stuff too...

And you were right: "Nikita rennt" means "Nikita runs" - not "race"..

    btw: beautiful model :)

  • Needs more lens flare. A lot more lens flare.

  • Hei! Awesome tutorial. To advanced for my skills, but still fun to watch :)

btw: No beeting up Mark "rennt" does not mean the race,

    but (Lola) "runs" /Lola rennt

Thumps up for Marks foreign language skills :)

  • Always great stuff!

  • I honestly think it looked its best around 7:10 , but still nice work !!

  • Great tutorial Mark! I noticed when you were adjusting the blacks in LR (~5:50) there were some dark blobs off Elie's left shoulder. Was that possibly sensor dust?

  • Outstanding Mark,,,I only wish i could work with someone like you and your staff

  • I LOVE LENS FLARES!

  • thanx Mark

i've just lost all hope in understanding advanced photoshop...lol

  • ''How do I get my subject to be brighter and the background darker, when inside theres not much light and its midday?'' i know its kind of an especific question but i'd love to see a video about this, this video series are great! I'm only a photography enthusiast by the way.

  • Excellent Tutorial,! love how you explain every single mouse click, making it very easy to follow. Thanks

  • Where can I download Nikita Rennt? I wanna see this 'Ode to J.J. Abrams' film.

  • You're awesome, Mark!

  • this is totally awesome

  • ur my photo guru. cheers

  • seriously mark, give that front lens to me.

  • Excellent editing Mark..

  • Why not gel the black background one color and the fog another? Thats dramatic. A costume and makeup would help to the effect.

  • @michaelchimera Great idea. Shoot it and post your results on the Flickr group. I can't wait to see how it looks.

  • Very interesting, thanks a lot. I love snapfactory and adoramaTV, these are some of my favorite channels.

And you were right, "rennt" means "runs" (Lola rennt = Lora runs) and not race!

  • Really nice... I'll be attempting this week. Thanks

  • I like it mark but one thing! I would have liked to see to fonts behind the scanlines and the noise!!!!!!

  • I'm German and "rennt" means run and not race ^^. you got it right the first time. so "NIKITA RENNT" = "Nikita runs".

Awesome Tutorial btw. it's interesting to see how making the image "worse" (adding noise etc...) actually makes it better :D

  • Thank you Mark!

  • Fantastic! Thanks, Mark!

  • feel like you guys should lower the volume of the intro just a bit...

  • Wow! really deep and interesting. thank you so much. I've known nothing about photography when i started and this show really helped my understand everything.
