@cashandguns Ben says that he has a few health problems that won't go away and he has been sober for approximately 3 years. Before the Phobia tour 2006 Benjamin had a lung disease. They tried to remark the tour for another time but that wasn't possible. Ben was fully recovered from the disease sometime between 2008-09.

a voice isn't like a guitar, where you can change strings or know that putting your finger on a certain fret will give you a pitch. When your voice wears out, it takes time to recover. Also, the voice has another weakness. you can get sick...I found this out when I was auditioning around the country for conservatories. Thank goodness, I recovered in time for my last couple auditions
