  • What memories! We played 5 shows a day, 7 days a week in the barn for many seasons in the 70s, Wow. Great to see this video - Mark & Bonnie

  • Hi, Guys,

I was the school teacher in the film and remember it was great fun but hot!

Jimmie was such a nice guy! He let me open his show at Caesar's Palace as a young singer. I would love to hear the World thru Eyes of Childrn song and What is a a Child

  • AWESOME! I have a vague remembrance of going to Wondering Woods when I was a little girl. I hated that it closed down. :(

  • have you gt any more u can put on...i would love 2 see a bit with russ tamblyn in

  • Very nice! I've been looking for something that showed the original Wondering Woods for quite some time. I shot an amatuer horror film in the old Chapel Gardens last October which was the only remaining structure but that was tore down I believe in February. The pamphlet link is wonderful! Thanks for sharing! David

  • @RedheadBG It wasn't entirely torn down. Portions of the outer wall buildings and the rotunda still exist. It appears to have some kind of future, but I don't know what. The service junctions are all sealed with shiny new bolts, and the new doors are sealed with shiny new locks. It also has some very 21st century security strobes and cams.

  • @mikepageky Yeah, after we filmed our funny Horror film there last year, I was visited by our county sheriff and the head park ranger informing me I wasn't allowed back there anymore and that I needed a permit to film on federal land. They told me they were starting demolition the following week and that the rotunda was going to be used as a bat sanctuary... In fact the whole place was now a bat habitat due to the "White Nose" disease which is the reason they didn't want any human contact!

  • Very interesting! --The Great American Dollhouse Museum

  • Thanks for posting this. I went there with my family when I was a kid in the early 70's. I've tried to describe to my husband what it was like. This will help. Ironically, I now live just a few miles from there. Too bad it's not still there.

  • Dear Adam, That must have been fun for you. Thank you for responding. May the Lord bless you. Ephesians 2:8-9

  • I never heard of this. Can it be bought and watched? It's kind of cute!

  • Unfortunately, the movie has never been available, having been shown in one theater in Los Angeles for one week only in 1975. I managed to acquire a copy from a sound editor since I was in the film.

  • @AdamConlea is there any way I can get a copy of this from you?

This is a childhood film that we would love to be able to see agian.
