I dig the song but Lord thanks that I was raised in the Carribean and live in Miami just looking at the video makes me remember my winter days back in Pennsylvania!
knew some of Terje's works of the late 1970s and loved them too, but this one, man ... this is so good! i mean this might have influenced many in Britain as well as in The States in its own times ...
If you're into some good Terje, check out my profile. I've uploaded some songs not on youtube and am in the process of uploading a bunch more...it's good stuff
Hi Dyvelsten, you should really make that Norwegian 60/70'ties Top 40 Psych/ Prog list, with bands like Aunt Mary, Popul Vuh, Freddy Lindquist, Dream, Höst, Flying Norwegians, Ruphus, Bazar, Neptunes Empire, Prudence, Deja vu.... etc... In the 70'ties Norway definitely had one of the best prog scenes in the world.
You have a beautiful country dyvelsten thank's for sharing !!. Great jam by the way love the swirling Hammond and flute. You have great taste in music !!!!!

Mr. Rypdal on both guitar and flute. Magne Furuholmens father plays trumpet on this record.

@lifeformlifeform Det er Terje selv som spiller fløyte her. Etter å ha hatt den i 1 år. Faren lærte ham den og sopransaxen.

A friend of mine from Norway intoduced me to Terje Rypdal back in the 80's...I've been hooked on him ever since!!!

Terje Rypdal plays the flute himself. He still does sometimes. He also played soprano sax in the 70s. His father was a professional clarinetist.
