  • I remember seeing a strange looking strongly built dog at a home where a 90 year old hunched over woman lived. The dog seemed to be absolutely amazing at protecting her and her stuff. I never saw him leave her side. Now I saw this type dog at a shelter online.

Amazed: that's the dog. The Best.

  • @thefamilyisgood ...thank you for your comment! what you saw in the dog protecting the lady is truly the nature of the breed...they are wonderful!

  • Lol this looks like something my dog would do XD. She's part Australian Cattle Dog and part German Shepard.

  • The greatest American dog is the American Pit Bull Terrier. He can kicks the Australian Cattle Dog's butt.

  • LOL you dumbass yanks trying to claim blue heelers otherwise known as AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG'S notice the part were it says AUSTRALIAN? ;) as your own haha blue heelers are a true australian dog that australians are very proud of, go find your own dog

  • @aussiejacko95 ...hmmmmm....did you read the replies that I have posted on earlier dates? If there is any terminology that you may not understand, please let me know and I will be happy to clarify the words for you. Thank you.

  • I have 3 Queensland heelers, 2 blue and 1 red...

    I love them to death

  • How can u americans say that the blue/red heeler is an american dog, seems like everything that lands on ur shores u lot claim to have bred/made,then claim it as ur own...u lot wouldn't have a dog smart enough to even come close to breed out a heeler....their real home is Australia, thats why their called Australian Cattledogs(ACD).We export them to the rest of the world.

  • @beetle1835 : If you read the previous posts, they indicate that this video is a spoof on a silly American reality TV show called, "Greatest American Dog." Just another thought: she was born in the USA.

  • @mMAmericanSpiritMm yer good to hear an opinion from someone as educated as this bellend. bet you think australians are english and live in the northern hemisphere. noones as soft as a fat yank. get an economy before we believe you have jobs :)

  • @HUNFUK haha yes ACDs are from Australia. Im guessing I was pretty drunk when I wrote that comment 9 months ago. I meant to direct that towards americans. sorry. glad you don't make any sense either.

  • @beetle1835 Your ancestral line isn't native to Australia so your not Australian so what are you worried about?

  • @beetle1835 You are clearly one of the millions of youtube users who look at the title, skip the video and description, then proceed to post lengthy criticisms. ACD's are incredible dogs, indeed, and australia should be proud of them. They are also undoubtedly lucky that you didn't include "Australia" in your screen name, as you seem to be an unfortunate product of the same country. It's just a shame. Insert "prison state" joke here.

  • Truthfully, these dogs were founded in America. Australia takes the credit.

  • She did recently nip the nose of a boxer who got a little too curious! Boxers in general--she has no problems!

  • By the way don't worry about the idiots commenting on the American thing. They obviously can't read. Great video!!

  • Isnt the Blue heeler an Australian dog? HAHA. nice try ;D

  • Did you read my replies to other comments????????

  • ummmm....i think blue heeler is not bad bu i like the american pitbull terrier better

  • ahhhhh my ACD would always run crazily around everywhere trying to pick up this hard, plastic ball we had for her just like yours!

  • As I said in an earlier reply, this video is a spoof on a former American reality television show called: "The Greatest American Dog." The show was a competition between American dog owners and their dogs...and...by the way...she was born in the USA!

  • blue heelers are the greatest kind of dog but they're not american...idiot they are Australian

  • What a good Video. Loved It!

  • theres no such thing as an american cattledog because cattledogs have dingo in them and dingoes are in australia. yer australia have the best dogs anyway!

  • If you read the earlier replies to comments, you will see that this video is a "spoof" on a silly American reality TV show called, "The Greatest American Dog", where owners compete to have there dogs deemed the greatest American dog.

  • I just adopted a puppy yesterday and she is an American Red Heeler/German Shepherd mix. She's adorable but whiney =P

  • pearly wolf there is no such thing as an american red heeler they are pure aussie dogs......get it right

  • My heeler went crazy with this vid too.....between the squeaking and barking.. hehe

  • `Haha my cattle heard the sound of this vid, now he goes crazy

  • This video is intended to be a "spoof" of a strange American reality TV show.......it has nothing to do with the breed of the dog.....

  • i agree! best breed in the world! super smart and the stamina they possess is incredible. hearty and strong. i will never own another breed!

  • great dog.ive had 5 of them but the first and last are my best mates the first was buster gt him when i was 5 loved the ball could catch of first bounce he was a pure bread smithfeld and my now dog rusty great name for a blue he was a neglected dog i saved him from owners now he wont stop followering me even when i go to the toilet its a pain but u get use to it u can see him in my pics on myspace under 0zzyoutlaw

  • They are great! Mine likes to buzz my ankles also!

  • Since when was an ACD an American Dog?

  • Good point! She was, however, born in the USA!

  • I could tell that straight away as only stupid americans would dock an Australian Cattle Dogs tails!!

  • Also, the name of the reality TV show was "The Greatest American Dog." Gotta say----Heelers can beat them all!

  • cool video

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLL!

Great video. I see Jazz had pretty much the same reaction to the "drama" that I did.:-)

My Cattle Dog loves to herd the ball, too, but I gave him a soccer ball & he popped it. :-) He uses a basketball but that is starting to wear raw spots on his nose.

Yeah, I watched every episode of GAD...it was crap, but it was crap with dogs!

Kinda put me off Victoria Stillwell for good. What an absolute twit!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Indeed she did!! Her favorite balls to run are the lightweight, inexpensive kids balls because she can flip them airborn and bounce them off her head. I put a bandaid over the air hole so she can't snag her tooth in it. At first she used to bite and pop them. Now she has learned not to do so. They also slide across the grass pretty readily. I agree with you about the show. Why would anyone challenge a dog to move under an elephant. We will look for your dog!
