The Volt is cool, but the engine really should be diesel. Since owners will generally use only electric power, when they do finally have to use the engine the gas will have become turpentine.
i see no point at using electrics it's so uneficient 1.e.station burning gas/consuming urane ,not 100% energy burned=e.output +u charge something its even more energy loss,I will call electrics a good choice if it will be self filling up untill then no point

I don't know German and my hearing is shite, but if he said if the charging time was 16hrs then this is a bad review. For the Tesla, charging takes 3.5 - 6 hours on Europe's 220v and 30 minutes using fast chargers that are already here!
@toyotaprius79 and you can charge one in 10 minutes but I keep causing block wide brown out's doing that, and pacific power has had to replace the pole pig twice.... oops.

Det fins INGEN garanti for "förnybara energikällor" og det er ingens FEIL å bruke en brødrister. Elektrisk bil er bra fordi hvis alle har elektrisk bil så trenger man bare å forandre kraftverkene for å forbedre miljøet. Som er mye lettere enn å få alle til å bytte til en ny og mindre miljø skadelig bil hvert år. Fremtiden er enten elektiske biler fra atom kraft eller hydrogen.

@terrenjpeterson lol, I absolutely agree. Chrysler has proven to be incompetent numerous times and the other companies are not much better. Companies like Tesla are our future.
@terrenjpeterson if they help this technology then who is goina buy petrol .. how will the big oil companies survive, the ones owned by the bushes and chineys( Dick chiney ) this tech is good for the nature bad for their walet so no need to tell which comes first tesla was killed for the same reason ... he was on the verge of inventing perpetual energy source ............not good right

I don't mind charging it a bit longer cuz I know it would be enough for me on my daily base driving.
I'd only charge it by night at home. So I would not need such "gas" stations ! :)
