in my opinion, the sidekick sucks. Like he said, it erases ur stuff. As soon as my contract is up im done with sidekicks If ur trying 2 decide between this phone and another, choose another.

My problem with my sidekick, If I scroll the trackball little very fast the icons just came out from their bubbles and disappear its kinda fun, but pissing me off, is that suppose to happen? I only have my sidekick for like 2 days!
In my case, the phone reset itself a few days after the msg from tmobile saying to not remove the battery or reset phone. Bummer. All contacts, all but 1 todo, all but 1 notepad, all but a few calendar, all bookmarks, etc etc were gone. Yea, sux. However, since, they are still working on the restore, then the $100 is not given out yet.

You probably set a ringtone as your text ringer

If you dont want your contacts to delete "save them to your simcardd.

Already been there. Saving to simcard will save only the most very basic contact info only.
