TenStarsplus!!!!! OMG!!!! I've heard many versions of this fantabulous song, and until now my favorite was by the late Frankie Laine, but these beautiful ladies just blew the doors off his version!!! So that's where the "somewhere above" part at the beginning and end came from, along with the ahhhhhhs. This version certainly is more like the Earls version than any other revealing the main inspiration, but it still adds a few things to it. The melody lines are sung a bit differently in the versions and there is no spoken part in the Delrons version. Also, the Delrons version has more orchestration which helps to drive the power in the arrangement, and ultimately builds to a powerful finale.
