@BeastlyKill69 the piston is facing you when placed so if you jump and put a piston underneath yourself it will always be facing up.

@1997shad Intricate things like this are what make Minecraft servers so hilarious. I made a tunnel leading to a shitton of empty chests, and when X-rayers saw the sign saying "MINSHEME'S UNPROTECTED HOUSE" They though I was the idiot before the walked through the tunnel to those chests, but the tunnel floor opened up and they got what they deserved.. Im trying to make something like this where I have three sticky pistons holding blocks out so they look like a normal walkway. I will have a pressure plate nearby so if something or someone were to step on it, they would fall. I don't quite know how to keep the pistons in an on position but still turn off when someone touches the plate. please help!

@MrAjaxmen Normal pistons don't make the blocks stick... Sticky pistons make the blocks stick so that's why the blocks in front of sticky pistons move with it. The blocks in front of normal pistons move only once and then they stay there.

I am trying to make the wire connect to the other side, I tried connecting it with a wire and activating it iwth a lever but it won't work. I made it go upper and down and still won't work.

@MGVFXProductions You can close the walls on the side.... It's not like you exactly follow this video it just shows you how to make the bridge. If you want to hide it be creative and if you don't want walls find another way to hide it.

I made something like this but with 2 switchs incase I am being chased I can retreat the pistons getting the mob to fall in lava and die when i reach the other side. Only issue I am having is that my switch on the other side will not make the pistons retract.Both switchs can make the pistons work but none will override the other.Any one understand what I may be missing to make my drawbridge work?

Your pistons go up instead of to the side. It works, but in my opinion it doesn't look nice because the lava will be flowing at that point. But it works of course. :)

@magmon2468 use a XOR wiring system, but underground, i wonder if i can make a TUTORIAL about one...since my drawbridge circuit is hidden underground. And having two sides of switches doesnt make sense your enemy can break in

i spent like an hour doing this with all the redstone hidden and no repeaters...ive only been playing minecraft for a couple weeks so i didnt really even know what they were....seriously i wish i watched this video before. id still have to hide all the redstone...but thats not as hard as coordinating the sides.

I've tried putting another lever in but it didn't seem to work, I only got as far as it opening on one side. I'll continue experimenting.

Many thanks, in my Minecraft there's a floating island and I wanted to be able to disconnect the bridge I built from the mainland to it at night (I know that won't stop mobs from spawning on the island, but it'll stop them from getting to it once I figure out putting the glowstone in).
