@Unperfectionist I feel helpless to assist people who encounter this problem because the reason is either (a) the user has entered some information incorrectly somewhere or (b) there is an issue with a virus program or firewall/ports, and I don't know how to help. I get this comment a lot, and I am actively working to find ONE solution; two major obstacles are the abundance of "possible solutions" on the internet and the fact that I cannot recreate the issue on my own computer. :(

@TheZainbazaz I don't know what you mean by different IP, but you should be using the IP in Hamachi.. if this fails, try both!

@poompeyloompey It's possible that your friend has some kind of virus program/firewall that is causing a relayed connection (blue dots). Also, if you have any kind of download running or bittorrent program (like frostwire) this could occur. Firewall is usually the problem, and there are a million things that could go wrong. :(

I suggest that you search "Hamachi blue dots relayed tunnel" and read up on possible solutions. I have read some, but there are so many that I don't know which to share.

@supergamefreak56 You would have to acquire the older version of the server software and run Terraria without an update (if that's possible). Anyone who intends to connect to your server must have version 1.1 as well.

@Ambossadorhs I got this message once when I failed to capitalize a word- it's case sensitive. Make sure the network ID is entered precisely as it was created! I'm not sure what the problem could be otherwise ._.

@Bleach414 From what I've read, you aren't the first person to have this problem with the server software, nor is this issue just with v1.1. It could just be a bug in the game- some people report crashes every time they enter the Underworld or use the grappling hook, etc. I'm really sorry, but I don't know how to help. :(

You could probably try reinstalling the game, but I would hate for you to try and lose all your data for nothing.

@BlazerBlitz331 After starting your server, type them into the TerrariaServer application (the simple black window). Type "help" (no quotes) and press enter to see a list of commands. An example of a command is "midnight" which changes the time to midnight. Type the word "midnight" (without quotes) and press [enter]
