The Katrina victims were not the victim of the feds, but a really huge natural desaster, that was increased by a lack personal and local planning. Too many people did not store up or do anything to prepare them selves and looked only to the government for their needs. It is time we take care of ourselves.

The feds were cutting off supplies from getting in and FEMA agents were caught actively cutting power & phone lines by local sheriffs who had to post deputies to keep the bastards from doing it any more. The goal there was for the feds to force the locals&state to call on help from the feds. Read up on it a little bit. Keep an open mind to information as long as there is evidence supporting it. There is nearly 0% chance that FEMA was intentionally sabotaging katrina victims. I have never even heard of such accusation from anyone else. Can you point me to any evidence. The FEMA slow response was either due to incompetance, but more likely due to the enormity of the obstacles and the speediness needed to mobilize such a large number of people and supplies. The logistics with no solid pre-planning made speed more difficult. Also cutting power lines, may be because of the flood.

Don't be destructive. Be sure to focus that energy! Focus on the things YOU need to do to continue having access to the essentials: food, water, shelter. I'd recommend caching food in safe spots. There's videos on how to long term store food. When/ If another Katrina contrived crisis occurs you won't be a victim of the Feds. You & yer family will have food. Multiple caches = wise. The Katrina victims were not the victim of the feds, but a really huge natural desaster, that was increased by a lack personal and local planning. Too many people did not store up or do anything to prepare them selves and looked only to the government for their needs. It is time we take care of ourselves.

Agreed except for the fed part. The feds were cutting off supplies from getting in and FEMA agents were caught actively cutting power & phone lines by local sheriffs who had to post deputies to keep the bastards from doing it any more. The goal there was for the feds to force the locals&state to call on help from the feds. Read up on it a little bit. Keep an open mind to information as long as there is evidence supporting it. There is nearly 0% chance that FEMA was intentionally sabotaging katrina victims. I have never even heard of such accusation from anyone else. Can you point me to any evidence. The FEMA slow response was either due to incompetance, but more likely due to the enormity of the obstacles and the speediness needed to mobilize such a large number of people and supplies. The logistics with no solid pre-planning made speed more difficult. Also cutting power lines, may be because of the flood.

Life was more simple but when you control and produce you're own food you can't be poisoned through it nor controlled by an empty belly. Im for anything that restricts the financing of terrorism. Bush and co. did an excellent job drafting the Patriot act.
Only an "Unpatriotic American" would have any problem whatsoever with it.
