I hate the people who own these cars and rather let them rot then sell them, makes zero sense. 20 years later they still claim they will get to the project some time.
i could fix them up if the rear frames arent rusted away i have 4 trans ams and 1 firebird the firebird has set with no wheels so there is no floors or rear frames my 79 se is very rusty but i will save it soon my 75 is a bondo trap but very rare i will fix it up too, my 81 is in the best shape though
Seems to me that during the 80's and 90's cars like these Firebirds and other muscle cars like this were not very desirable. People were demolition derby many el camino's and monte carlo's of the 70's and malibu's etc. You could pick up one of these cars very reasonable. I bought a 1979 Trans Am all orginal, no rust. ws6 that was stored for 10 years in 98 for $600 just needed a new engine.. Now that car is worth about 5k-10k.. Part of it was how in just 10 years prices have skyrocketed.
Im still mad thay let pontiac die off.and well allways be.
