Well played, I was joining with you by playing along as I have a handful of keyboards. The Juno G & SH-201 Rolands have some of the same sounds as G Nmn uses. The Juno has a sound called Com Pad that sounds like one of the moog sounds Gary uses. I play loads of G Nmn, Kraftwerk, record bits of my own stuff, I sing & play loads of oldies for groups but just for fun. I dont want to take music seriously. My career aim is animal welfare. @bestrickie2 Thanks....I'll have to check out Com Pad on the Juno. I've got an Access Virus TI2 now which is great for Numan sounds. I do a bit of Numan/Kraftwerk and my own stuff .....just wish I could sing !!
On this I'm using an old Roland JW 50 and Novation Xiosynth. I also have an Alesis Micron and Roland SH 201 and an old Ensoniq EPS sampling keyboard. I worked the baseline out my watching live videos, tv shows and playing along to the original. Glad you liked it !
@17463746 The Micron is not a bad little synth but seems very unreliable. Mine is away for repair for the second time in a matter of weeks. Hope yours holds up okay if you are using it for gigs.
@17463746 yes i use it for gigs with my band. and we play alot so i really need it, hmm well i havent come across any problems so far but ive only had it for a few months. im getting a microkorg pretty soon.
@17463746 Mine failed the first time after 11 months..just in warranty !! Main PCB board was replaced by Alesis. Lasted three weeks !! Just heard today that the main board has been replaced again. If you have made any changes on the Micron make a note of them just i case is my advice. Looking to get an Access Virus Ti or Polar in the next 6 months. Only problem with the Microkorg is the size of the keys. Have you considered the Korg M50 ? More money I know but probably worth it in the long run.
