@31998 Your story is common. It is called hypospadia. Never should a baby with this condition be circ. at birth sorry they doctors missed ti before they did the circ. The foreskin best "patch" Sadly some boys are circum before it's noticed. 30% of men have some form. There's a hereditary factor. Left unnoticed/treated it causes UTI. Some have had doctor accidentally circ the baby without permission and thus deprive the child the recommend most successful repair using the foreskin.

You're right. I made the choice a few years ago. It's difficult to isolate pain receptors which is why in adults they use general anaesthesia. Many children do actually suffer infection of the urinary tract not through parental neglect but chance. Circumcision does reduce disease xfer including aids by up to 50%. Sexual dysfunction also occurs due to ridiculously tight foreskins. The foreskin was useful in the stone age but now is largely redundant. Plastibell method is less barbaric.

Even a strong immune system can't cure or even ward off herpes, as coldsores make abundantly clear. Human papillomavirus (HPV or warts) is also transmitted in this way, and is currently believed to be linked to cervical cancer.

I believe babies should be left alone until they make their own decisions regarding circumcision. I was merely relaying some facts.

You failed to notice in my post "I made the choice a few years ago". Notably, removal of my foreskin was necessary 10 years ago for medical reasons and there's no change to sensation whatsoever, it's as good as ever.

Circumcision is barbaric for infants, because a general anaesthetic is used only for adults. The plastibell method only makes one minor cut in order to fit the plastibell, whereby the original procedure requires many slices. Please research both methods.
