The absolutely best version ever (imho) of this great song..

Glad that Casey & Haley performed it on American Idol last Thursday, but nothing can compare to this.. The more jazz on Idol, the better.. no matter what.. But wish they'd acknowledge the masters like L, H & R...

While I enjoyed their up-tempo duet of this song last week, musically, Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhardt paid absolutely no mind to the lyrics in how they delivered them. I think this is a sign of their immaturity, that they didn't even try to get across what the song was about, with Haley's sexy voguing and Casey's put on "black cool". They should learn to let themselves be who they are --- well I guess they're young and happy and that's how they sang it.

@jtubelie I respectfully have to disagree with you on this one. I think Haley & Casey's rendition was remarkable. Remember they are from a different era, so of course they would base the emotions behind the lyrics on more current times. That in itself isn't what makes their interpretation better for me. Haley was able to add her vocal signature to the song without losing the basic fundamental story behind the song. To me it was a great rendition by a soon to be great artist.

@Cath3riine Hi, yes its on the album pictured..in a cd release of that name. Its a compilation of 3 of their albums, and a stunning set of songs. What a wonderful group..no one can sing like this today.
