I am very glad to have further researched this issue, when i first learned about the irvine 11, i had not yet been here in irvine before and read it in a article that was connected to hate crimes on uc campuses. After looking more deeply into the incident with irvine 11 I am absolutely appauled that my hometown published a newspaper article grouping them together with outright racist people from other campuses! Irvine does not facilitate life for minorities, our stories are blurred or unheard...
