  • a bit geeky lookin:):)..but always loved this song

  • Despite the big money he got from royalties, the writer of this song JD Loudermilk wasn't thrilled with any of the rock n roll interpretations of this hilbilly working class anthem.

  • Yes, the 'TEEN'S' are English, originating from the Addlestone/Weybridge area in Surrey.

  • A band sporting Two Lead Singers ! I love the way Ray Phillips and Arthur Sharpe move in unison as they sing ! Excellent Band who made Great Records !! Goodbye Google Eye...

  • I saw these fellas in March 1964 before they'd really made it. They were playing at Bloxwich - great little band with John Hawkins on piano i think.

  • A great version, and I agree, check out Edgar Winter's version.

  • Great tune.Keyboard player John Hawkes joined The Strawbs in the 70's.

  • My God, someone else remembers The Strawbs! By the way, what are the girls in the audience screaming at?

  • Probably a large, lighted sign in the studio, saying "SCREAM."
