same here mate, thats what attracted me instantly about this phone ..its the black sexy screen, i love that! no other device has this look. Love the white shell too ..goes so well with dark screen. I just wished it had all the HTC HD2 features :(

I'm planning on getting the Liquid, but I don't know if I should wait for the Nexus One to reach my country (Sweden), because right now the Liquid is available at $100 less than usual, but then anoter question, is there a better android device out there as of now? Or is Nexus One what I should spend my money on?..... HELP!

Nexus One is a very tempting phone. For me it would be an Acer Liquid if it was at a bargain price... others in the equation might be the Motorola Milestone or the Nexus One.

Hey Dave i have a question. If you decide that you really like one of the products that you are reviewing (such as the HTC Magic,) do you buy the "loaner" from the review, or do you have to buy one separately? I was just curious.

In some cases loan products do not have any warranty, so cannot be sold. However, on most occasions the loan product gets returned, then I just buy the product if it has impressed me enough. In fact I cannot think of one time when I have bought the actual loaner.

Two smartphones that impressed me enough to buy. The iPhone 3G, then the HTC Magic. That said, this is so much more responsive than the Magic. Better speed, higher spec camera, brighter screen.

It is not free. I have been producing reviews for five years now. All of the items I am loaned get sent back after I have finished.

I enjoy technology and gadgets. It gives me the opportunity to create unbiased reviews and share my experiences with consumers, so that they can make an informed buying decision.

If you mean do I buy them after review, then no, funds do not allow. If you mean do I buy them to review, then about 95% are loaned to me, around 5% purchased.
