Something similar happened to me. I was collecting a bounty to kill a giant, I shoot the giant with an arrow from afar, take it out no problem in a minute or so. As soon as I come back from looting the Giant...Frost troll, right next to me. After killing the troll, one of the giant's mammoths is chasing me, I kill it, then a frost dragon shows up. At this time I'm really over it, so I start running the other way...Then an elder dragon and another frost dragon are dueling it out just ahead.
