I live in Indianapolis and i remember this hail storm
Me, my bro , my dad and my cousins went to soccer and then the sky got dark and it started to rain I was like aw man it was raining than when we drived home the sky got bluish then I heard some "rocks" slam on our car and the windows were all wet we couldnt see through it I was scared..
I though this is the end of my life but the hail stopped but we went slow 'cause of the hail. finally, it started to shine
wow, rite when me and my mother picked up pizza somewhere close to broad ripple, it started to hail when we started driving, her car got dented, and we couldnt see anything at all, even a car that was rite next to us, it was scary, lol.
Yeah, this storm caused about $8000 combined to our two cars and cost us a roof on the house. At least we weren't driving. Had a friend on the highway whose windshield was blown out WHILE DRIVING by one of those things. Youch.
During this storm, my mom and I were being held hostage at Pet's Mart's grooming salon along with our puppy and everyone else in the store. It was the one on E Washington Street. That area got the worst damage in the state.
