They are very liberal. Sure, there are extremist forms of Islam, but they are very small in number. Yeah, a lot of English words are "made up". That's why Koreans (and most non-native English speaking people) have such a hard time learning English. English words have roots in so many other languages (Old English/Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Greek, Latin, French, German/Dutch, etc.)
