I have always loved the simple but beautiful melody of the song. I have also enjoyed the version with Chinese lyrics. They did a great job translating the Japanese lyrics into Chinese.

As you know, "Haine" means "Heinrich Heine".

IMHO, "Aiwo kataru Haine" represents his literary work, not himself.

"Boku" had a romantic time with "Bokuno koibito" as if they were in one of the literary writings by Heine, however Heine is a polygamist. :-p
