I pray that he would allow you to see the condemnation of every tongue that rise up against you and the faltering of every weapon that is formed. May God bless your voice. Continue to live it up for Jesus.

  • This is great. "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." God's blessings and more revelations of Himself for this young man.

  • amen to that above comment i agree but at the same time the holghost is real and speaking in touges is the manifestaion that lets you know that you have it and just becaue you feel good and run around the church don't mean you have it

  • Keep on young man. I admire that you'd rather worship than to sell drugs, impregnate young girls etc,,,,we were created to give him our life.......Hallelujah

  • if you look in the book of acts you will see a little word right in front of tongues that says other, in Corinthians theres a little word in front of tongues that says tongues. those words are in italics to let you know that they were not a part of the original greek text but were added to let the reader know there was a difference in the manifestation of the tongues were used. On Pentecost they spoke in "other tongues" the greek word is glossa which means dialects of other nations....

  • we know this to be true because the text says there were men standing around from different nations who all heard the Word in His own languages. People were shocked because they knew the disciples were Gallileans who had never been taught these languages. The manifestation of tongues in this setting was for the purpose of everyone being able to hear the gospel of Jesus regardless of nationality.

  • p.s. I meant to say in Corinthians the word is "unknown" there is a difference in other and unknown. In Acts they spoke in other tongues (other languages) In Corinthians Paul addresses "unknown tongues" (prayer language to God" we know this is the prayer language because that's when Paul says if you speak in an "unknow tongue" to go off to yourself and talk to God. The disciples did not speak in "unknown tongues" on Pentecost. They spake with "OTHER tongues"two different manifestations.

  • And to 210jogden...Pentecost did not come 50 YEARS after Jesus' resurrection. Most of the disciples weren't living 50 years after Jesus' resurrection. Most of them were beheaded or stoned to death. John was the only disciple who died a non violent death. He died while on the isle of Patmus, that's how he wrote Revelations.Pentecost means 50th Sabbath.

  • 210jogden, let me make a slight correction to the above statement about Pentecost. Pentecost was one of 3 Jewish festivals. The other two were the Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles. Pentecost fell on the 50th day after the Sabbath of the Passover. 7 Sabbaths is 49 DAYS. The 50th DAY was Pentecost.

  • 1)festival of the harvest

    2)festival of weeks

    3)pentecost....not ness. in this order

ref. the holmes illustration bible dictionary

  • Ok I see what you're saying. I think on page two or three I referenced the Jewish festivals. Pentecost is also actually referenced in the book of Leviticus.

  • yessir.... the book of moses.

  • Lambs blood painted over the door post....so that the death angel would "passover"....this was during the time of the plagues in egypt.

after the "passover" there were the "festivals" to celebrate the liberation.

  • ok cool cool. Good knowledge.

  • PTL bruh...dido.

  • spelling correction....it's the "Holman" ill. bible dict. sorry.....good reference book... really goe's in depth.

  • I have a program called Word Search. Do they have that as an online book that can be added to my Word Search bible software?

  • trust me when i tell ya. impregnating girls is the last thing on this mans mind. any and everyone in chicago knows about his extracurricular activities. just pray for him though yall.

  • THANKS

  • i couldnt help but see the debate on the speaking of tounges and the book of Acts and how it was to be used... it can be used in numerous ways and thats the only language that the devil cannot decode and then it is a language between you and God and it is mostly used in worship or spiritual warfare... in Acts two it fell on the dat of Pentecost 50 years after the resurection as a sign Jesus made it back to the right hand of God... so its the manifestation of the Holy Ghost

  • Read up, sommore bruh...this info about pentecost isn't correct

  • how do you figure, I have bible to back my statements. What about my statements on Pentecost are not correct? Enlighten.

  • ur timeline sir.

  • enlighten please...

  • I did the other day snuggable....I don't see the reply though?????? don't know what happened to it...anyway..

I said it was 50 days & not 50 years...I spoke of the 3 jewish festivals...I named them & what each represented...gave some scriptures & the holmes illustration bible dictionary as references.

  • In the book of acts 2nd chapter if my on the fly memory serves me correctly, it states that those in the room all spoke with cloven tongues as speaking in the tongues unto the Lord.

  • if we really read the book of acts and cor you will find that the gift tongues were used for two main purposes. In acts you see that it was used for the ministering of the gospel to other nationalities. The bible says when they were filled with the Holy Ghost they spake in OTHER tongues (other languages) and the bible indicates that they were speaking to devout men from 16 different nations and each heard the Word in his own language.....

  • The reason we know it was the Holy Ghost because the desciples were Gallileans who had not been taught these other languages. The next manifestation of tongues is classified as "unknown tongues" which we find in Corinthians to be the spirit speaking mysteries to God (1Cor14:2). Paul says when you do this and no interpreter present, he says the correct thing to do is go off to yourself and talk to God and himself.

  • I am nowhere near perfect nor do I know everything, but what I have noticed is that in the church lately, we assume, because something gives us the jitters, makes us feel warm, makes us cry, makes us shout, makes us go into a seemedly uncontrollable praise, that it is an indication that it was the move of God. WE we don't take into consideration how out of order something is we just welcome it as long as it gets our emotions going. We got to shy from what feels good and get some order.

  • hey brother

  • Man, God is using that preacher

  • Go ahead!

  • That's funny.

  • 1Cr 14:27 If any man speak in an [unknown] tongue, [let it be] by two, or at the most [by] three, and [that] by course; and let ONE interpret.

1Cr 14:28 But if there be no interpreter, LET HIM KEEP SILENCE in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

    Theres no way around it.

  • The spirit speaks to God because the flesh dont know what it needs. And when it happens let it happen! God molds you you dont force the hand of God. its joy unspeakable and full of Glory. Who are you to say what God wants? Try them see if they are of God!!!

  • I agree with you whole heartedly because speaking in tongues is a part of spiritual warfare, it breaks yolks and it edifyies.

  • Thats a misinterpretation. This scripture is describing the gift of tongues. There is a difference between the 2.

Read the book Acts. Or is that the only book in the bible not for us today. That would be weird to single it out like that wouldnt it.

  • GO AHEAD!!! GET THEM WITH THE WORD!

  • The scriptures tell us that - "Where the spirit is there is liberty"

  • Use that beautiful voice to abandon the quest for attention and join the quest for knowledge. Does God/Allah really answer prayers? Why won't he grow back the lost limbs of amputees? Why would he answer your prayer for monetary gain, and leave a starving child for dead? Sober up and end your dependency on delusion. Turn your love of delusion instead toward your fellow humans.

  • St4yTru3 - Crutcher is right. The Bible does give a certain mandate for tongues in worship. Biblically tongues were used for exhortation of the saints - and they werent just any words it was an actual language - thats why the bible says there should be an interpreter. and plus the bible says only one or two at a time...i guess if u dont agree it aint me that u argue with.

  • This young man is very good. I have one concern about speaking in tongues. According to I Corinthians 14, whenever someone speaks in tongues in church, there should always be an interpreter. I pray in tongues when the spirit touches me. In church there is always an interpreter when someone speaks in tongues aloud during service. The interpreter, speaks words that correlate with the Bible. I am not here to cause division or put anybody down.

  • no1 suppose to understand tongue it's a personal talk between you and the lord

  • just to answer Clutcher: Everyone is not always in tune with the spirit to interpret tongues. Everyone doesnt have the Holy Ghost and 4 that matter why would God let the enemy hear what he has to tell His people? He wont, trust me!!! The preacher may have been setting the atmosphere through tounges so that the ENEMY wouldnt be ALBE to interfere bcuz he doesnt understand! I hope I blessed u and let God be with u at all times...

  • I've been an actively spiritual christian for over 20 years and have observed tongues misused, misinterpreted & often commanded upon a congregation by leaders, e.g 'now everybody pray in tongues'. if you truly understand the phenomena, you know that you don't intentionally do this as a random ritual..if you have spoken tongues, you have been POSSESSED by the holy spirit to do so. Not any old fool can speak, or interpret tongues...but any old fool can submit to peer pressure and false doctrines.

  • (cont)..if any of you have felt pressured to engage in this by your peers in the church, or by leaders, and know in your heart of hearts in front of God, that you are not possessed by the holy spirit to do so...do not worry about the judgements of feeble men, simply wait on the Lord - ask him to utilise you and bless you with gifts of the spirit how HE sees fit and he will (or will not) manifest these things according to his purpose, not according to the measurement that no tongues = not saved.

  • The tongues referred to that require interpretation were the tongues of the foriegn languages of those who came from far and near text in full that one may better understand.

  • An interpreter isnt always necessary. some people can interpret what they say. my uncle Bishop Dale C. Bronner, has spoken in tounges in full phrases and then told us what he just said, finishing with "thus saith the Lord." That was an amazing experience for me.

  • That's funny, why didn't he just say it in english in the first place. That would have been amazing.

  • u talkin bout da dude singin right?

  • yes.

  • Awesome, It's a wonderful thing to see the youth of fire for Christ.. Does anyone know if he has a myspace page? Blessings on him and his ministry.. Dr. Coleman

  • I notice many of you complaining about youth preachers, if you know about Jesus Christ, you will know that he was only a child when he start preaching and spreading the word of God.

  • IF a man (not child) speak let him SPEAK AS A ORICLE OF GOD!not human reasoning!

  • Do you people know what it is to walk in the spirit? It is to walk in the Words and commandments of Jesus(my words are spirit and truth).remember He said IF you love me you will keep my commandments! If any man or child that isn't full of the word, how can jesus live in him and lead GOD's people? because its jesus through the man leading God's people.new testament santifacation takes alot of time, years in the word!blessing in chris

  • Jesus said suffer the little children and forbid them not for such is what.alrite now.come on somebody. i am young and can tell YOU something about being tried and going thorugh trials and tribulations and it was nobody but GOD who brought me out.YEEES.GLORY.and when he gives you a testimony you must tell it.new testiment sanctification does not take years if you seek the lord as you should...DAILY.look at those on the Day of Pentecost. What i just told you is the word and the word ALONE!

  • where dose it say youth pastor or asst. pastor is to be a office in the church???????????????...eph 5 is pastor, TEACHER,evangelist,prophet,apostle...only !people are making up thier own rules as they go..jesus is the Head of the church not men!repent and don't add or take away from the word.....jmarquis52 your word is not GOD's word!

  • im just saying to check out the fact in the new covenant we have in Jesus that only "saintified overcomers" will be true Disciples(learmers and followers) and from that the office of the church he will choose.these children have not had time to even know sin or what it is to overcome!rev2:17 believe it

  • The problem with a child preacher now is that were under a new covenant(not the law under moses) and it's sinners who are overcomers of sin because jesus came to take away sin not just to forgive. HE away took your sin ,that's the true gospel.A young man like this one has'nt had a chance to understand what's going on and be tried like the first 12 and then the 70 and on and on.jesus is still doing it that way you go to a bible school or not only overcomers.

  • WHEN GOD CHOOSE YOU HE EQUIP U

  • yea but remember the word also lets us know that the GREATEST TESTIMONY one can have is that GOD KEPT YOU IN YOUR YOUTH!!! so don't get so religious and theological that you begin to touch the anointed of God! Isaiah was a child when God called him, so was David...

  • He must have forgot the Jeremiah was young when God called him, maturity has nothing to do with age, because if God calls you and gives you the Word thats what matters.

  • As a youth pastor, It amazed me at what ChristopherM said, he must have forgot the Jesus gave his first sermon at 12 when he was in temple, he must have forgot that joshua and caleb were young when the told moses they could posses the land

  • that was so sweet in the lord!! bless him. i pray for ministry!

  • ChristopherM-that is a rediculous comment. God uses ANYONE that is willing to be used. The laborers are few and Jesus said to send laborers into the harvest. If adults won't step up the youth of our land certainly can. Just like Samuel. Jeremiah was young and GOD told him not to despise his youth.

  • Beautiful!

i love a man who can truely say he is saved

and that can sing and preach!

    so god bless you hun!

STAY IN God and be blessed!

  • well in order for him to speak in front of the people of God he must go through something so he can have testify of his goodness:)

    Be Blessed!!!!

  • This is beautiful. . .

    To God be the glory!!!

  • Pierre, and all you great biliblical eccliastes God Bless you and always keep him 1st in your life.
