This is the shittiest computer I've owned. It's had 5 hard drives, the OS has been reloaded twice, keyboard replaced, webcam replaced.

a sata drive is a hard drive, no, you can not download a hard drive from the internet

@amnaeekhan Your comment made me laugh, what makes you think a physical object like a hard drive can be downloaded from the net? That's like saying that viewing a picture of a bottle of coke on your monitor will magically appear in your hand.

You can't download one but you can buy one online, but if I was you I would leave installing the new drive to someone that is more competent.

Also before you do that I'd recommend in getting blank DVD's, then do the following:

1: Double-click the "Recovery Disc Creator" icon on the Windows desktop.

This utility may also be launched by clicking Start --> All Programs --> Hard Disk Recovery Utilities.

2: Select CD, DVD, or All Files (to create Recovery media on both CDs and DVDs).

i own this laptop and i gotta say i havebt really had an issue yet apart from the kinda dodgy mic jack on the front so you may want a cls card for audio

I own this laptop its great but for video gaming you may want a higher video and graphics card.
