We definitly newed more world events. I remeber rinigng that gong, an entire raid opened when the server worked and made wow seem more to life... Please Blizzard bring back the life of world events such as these.

The old WoW was great, but I never understood why AQ was the end game dungeon. I mean, where did C'thun come fron? Did it have something to do with lore? But he just popped up out of nowhere. Illidan and Lich King make sense, they had been talked about, but I never heard of C'thun until I did AQ.

@Aktaios001 no, there was a War Effort where both Alliance and Horde had to gather herbs, bandages, etc... and Medivh did it first, but besides the war effort, 1 player had to finish a freaking hard quest wich involved killing a lot of bosses and doing hard quests, only 1 person per realm could finish the quest and they gain a legendary mount and the Scarab Lord title

Those who were there, will never forget the night the Gates of AQ opened. Truly the most epic event ever in WoW. Yes it was laggy as hell and servers crashed but it was still, without question, the most exciting event ever in the history of the game.

Honestly, this was when WoW was at its best, and maybe when the Naxxramas patch came up. Good old vanilla classic times ;D when the bosses were hard, the raids were fun and interesting and when the word "EPIC" actually meant something

@IvanBeSerious The stuff before AQ/Naxxramas was pretty easy, though. There really weren't many bosses that were not tank and spank. And the pre-nerf TBC raids were a lot harder than the most of the vanilla content.

make players have to unlock the raids and do all those long ass chain quest like old times b4 they can lvl onto 61 or same for bc do hyjal and bt etc b4 lvl 71. would make it much more complex and make ppl understand the game for a change other then omg omg omg omg my gearscore is ____. and lfg triumph emblem farming.

@TheWallah123 I must say you appear to be quite uninformed, as a Warcraft player for fifteen years, and a World of Warcraft player for six years, I can state that PVP as well as PVE was quite unbalanced, with shamans able to defeat around five Alliance by back-pedalling and casting Frostshock, and many other absurdnesses, although I preferred the game as a whole back then much so, the community and world pvp mostly.

any chance some one can tell me why Ahn'Qiraj isnt avaible? I went there with my lvl 80 but i couldnt even get trew it, i tried both instances, but i got stuck to a sort of wall :s does this mean Ahn'Qiraj is closed for ever or something? :(

you probably need to be in a raid before it will let you through, just add a friend to your group and then turn the group into a raid group and it should let you through
