  • very nice acoustic cover. you make it look too easy & make the guitar sing beautifully. well worth the time listening to. keep it up. your rendition inspires me to keep trying to claim the strings too:)

  • very lovely guitar cover !

  • You are rushing the beat a lot.

  • good performance, virtuosic I would say ;)

  • i love it, so berautiful

  • very nice but why not play the flute solo part ?

  • very good ! ;]

  • Thanks for commenting on my video, I'm very pleased that a master like you consider it good.

This song certainly sounds great when played in the key of Am. The only problem is the F-stretch which I cannot do without a capo. You do it very well, sounds great.

  • You played it better, I don't play it much but when I do I play it more like you. When I did this one I was only just starting to understand Naudo's style. Did you start with my tab, or did you start from scratch? Got anthing written down? I'd love to have a look. Your style and playing is great, keep it up, I look forward to more!

  • I've used nothing written with this one, learnt it by listening to Naudo's first version of it and the original.

    Thanks again for commenting.

Btw, with that tremolo(?) at the end, do you use only index and middle finger? I must learn it too.

  • You're a natural talent then :) Tremelo is three fingers, it's a pretty standard flamenco sound. p for thumb, i for index, m for middle and a for annulus (ring) finger - you go p&a at the same time, then m, then i and repeat. so basically your fingers are going a-m-i-a-m-i-a-m-i in triplets and thumb on the a beat, walking up and down the notes in the chord. The trick is to get the same volume from a-m-i consistently so you don't notice they are triplets. Good luck!

  • Thank you very much for a great answer! I'll begin practising that right after I'll get my hands warm, it's getting pretty cold here up north...

  • It's not too fast, it's good.

    That slide looks REALLY tough!

    5/5

  • SLOW DOWN

  • CLICK ON TO DEAN FOLEY

  • with the tab why is there only half the song on it

  • Very, very good!! I applaud you. I enjoyed

the videos. Makes me wonder what else

you might be able to do.. SING??

  • Heh, sing - not a chance, I am a really, really bad singer...that's why I try to make the guitar do the singing for me ;)

    JAW

  • good job but i dont understand why you changed the key. it just makes it harder.... try it out of Em. you might like it.. rock on

  • well duh naudo is the best but this guy kicks ass too idiot what are you trying tosay

  • man that is a stretch!!

and having to mute 2 other strings as well!

  • Que bueno que no la cantastes, he visto otros cover de buenos guitarristas pero que la malogran al cantar, solo Justin Hayward y uno que otro cantante lo pueden hacer como debe ser.

  • gawd i love this song

  • too fast,good job.

  • muy rapido

  • im learing how to play this soon. nice job

  • thanks for posting. excellent tremello at the end.

  • Thanks! The arpeggio thumb in chord with tremelo on the 1st string is fun to do - and sounds pretty cool too ;)

  • Sounds great! //dan

  • awesome!

  • could you transribe naudo's version of hotel califonia?

  • Bah, can't stand that song. Used to play my own version for at least 10 years, stopped playing it at least 10 years ago ;) Naudos version _is_ great, but I won't be playing that song again for a long time...

  • ha! i asked that same question a while back. did u just get sick of the song or what?

  • why whY why ???

Such anice song and you play so good

    Kind Regards

    Horst from Hamburg

  • flippin' the bird at :22 nice!!

  • ha, that looks pretty funny now that you point it out to me...completely unintentional ;)

  • great. better than my version. i cant make the 5th fret stretch from the F. nicely done

  • Its a long stretch, took me a while before I could do it semi-reliably. I still miss it occasionally. Helps to have biggish hands.

  • Wonderful work *****

  • Great job bro nice to hear you..:) great version..

  • lovely version - you have your own style which is the way it should be. Be yourself you have talent

  • NAUDO copy..but great job!!

  • very nice version... i like it

  • what kind of guiatarr does he use?

  • maton

    they're australian

  • it is my most fav tracks. i do get the concept and if u will keep tryin i think very soon u will get that exact feel that u want to put. i mean just with one month practice u r doing so well! :D pretty cool and i love the arrangement that you have made. its very rich :D

  • love your work!

    *****5♥♥♥♥♥!!

    With Respect

    jesse

  • HEY... who you flippin off??? lol.... just got yourself another subscriber.

  • nice

  • Hey Jaw i really wanna thank you. theres no point in my life. i can not play guitar but i can play your song. this is a new mission in my little life.

  • ive been practicing that song the last couple of days, that 1xx215 chord is really really hard to get going man!

thank you for the tab anyway :)

  • Correct...but you have to do it, it's just not right without it! I have found that when I go for it I anchor the pinky and throw out the first finger for 1xxx1x and not stress immediately about getting down xxx2xx. I upstroke the xxxxx5 and let a bit of the xxxx1x get plucked, and once I'm holding down the full 1xx215 then I will strum xxx215. Sheesh, that doesn't look like it makes any sense...well, it did to me ;)

Thanks; post a video of you playing it sometime!

  • really nice!!

  • ur really amazing dude

  • Good Job....why no try it hybrid?

  • It certainly could be done, probably with a better sound too. Unfortunately nobody ever showed me how to hold a pick properly during "the formative years" and I haven't been able to break the bad habit of holding it between my thumb and index fingerpads since. I believe this is a common ex-classical guitar player problem ;)

  • WORK IT!!!

  • Great!!!

  • very nice rendition

  • WOW ! Well done !

  • Wow Jaw another great one! Love that ending!!

  • I'd been looking for an excuse to do a Naudo style ending ;) I got that tremelo finger pattern more or less down pat after learning the Ottmar Liebert piece "Road 2 Her Home"...maybe I'll play it for Youtube sometime eh! ;)

  • Hi Jason, nice man,I was only wondering if you had used another chordinversion for the F major that great strecht would be easier to play because the melody note is an A right?(Unless you wanted that low F in the bass)anyway just a thought, good work(Check out my Albatros, fingerpicking) greets Victor.

  • I really like the sound of the F bass but I think I may have to give up and go the A bass instead, as you say. I don't think I will ever be able to get that stretch clean everytime...

  • Awesome. My fingers are too weak to play that. I'll try this song until I get better. I'm only on my 6th month of guitar, so I'm not ready for this. Thanks anyways. Keep it up :-D

  • Nicely done :D m8

  • great job

  • well done mate.... by christ i think your fingers are made of elastic.... :]

  • still did better than i can
