Muslims says that the Quran word for word is direct from Allah. Since that is their belief then when you look at passages in the Quran we read that Allah thought that the Christians worship 3 gods and they are Father, Mary and Son.
It also says that Jesus never died on the cross but it was Judas.
Clearly the writer of the Quran had no knowledge of Christianity which was around for over half a millenia before.

The only people who officially deny this fact right out, would be the Muslims (besides those jesus-never existed fringe therorists). The only documentation in dispute of the fact that Jesus was crucified is the Quran - the supposed direct and 100% perfectly reveald word of Allah, which was, as you pointed out, written about 600 years after Jesus' death.

Gnostics basically turned the Old Testament upside down to make it sound that God was evil and satan was good. So any bad people in the OT were the real good guys. The Quran is a mish-mash of heretical christian beliefs that came in the later centuries.

It may be wonderful to be sure of something, but that doesn't make it right. For thousands of years people were sure the earth was flat. They were wrong. This Islamic scholar thinks he is right; others beg to differ. As he gives no reason to believe that Islam is right and other beliefs are wrong, he gives us no reason to take him seriously.

The other day a Math teacher was taking a class, & when he came to the equation 2+2=4. Then the students & the teacher immediately realised that, Islam is the only true Religion, and all other religions are Mistakes. They were all converted to Islam. And they stopped attending Physics, Chemistry, Maths classes & were learning sciences from the Quoran. Only the few disobedient pupils, Infidels if you like, much jeered & booed by the rest, went to the traditional science classes.

@mainufo the part Christains broke was the punishments. Think about it, because Christians don't use harsh punishments that are considered torture or fear and also include suffering, that is why they are completely against it. More or less the writings are basically the same it's the extreme practices that are completely opposite. Put it this way, islam law / the Shariah or Sharia law inflicts suffering, panic, torture, anguish. The bible including theirs is against it, yet they use it.
