@super8ben The black one at 2:43 is the Jet Threat 3.0 and this version is the 2011 Thrill Racers version. It was first introduced in 2001.

@LegoCityReviews1 That green car is the Twin Mill III. It was was released in 2010 in the Track Stars series. I would check Toys R Us and if can't find it in the single packs, check the 2-packs. Those are older cars in the 2-packs and you might still find the Twin Mill III.

I have a question about hotwheels racing. other than the radar gun and the laptop hotwheels produced. are there any other ways of getting a speed read out of a hotwheels car???

@lordchris If you're looking for a Mattel produced way to find out the speed of a Hot Wheels car, sorry, there isn't any other way than what you mentioned. You could possibly use a chronograph or speed detector that is also used for Paintball Gun testing or other speed-testing equipment.

Classic example of how Mattel changed the way we saw these little jewel like car models. Now they had their own tracks to race on! Thanks for noting the artist for the art on the packaging as this too was one of the stand out features of the early Hot wheel "experience".
