  • Thomas Edward Yorke: Musical visionary, breathtaking vocalist, environmentalist campaigner, and pioneer of the "I can't get my backpack off" dance.

  • ooh i got a mix on my toe sis !

  • this sone gives me shivers

  • this song comes at the exact right place in the set, that's what makes it so eye opening. I went back to the album version after this show and love it, but it's just sooooo good in this set order.

  • thank you for the playlist! =) amazing

  • E is obviously tuned down to B

  • @toolfanjt yeap. have you tried to play it. awesome

  • Phil is boss on this song.

  • Radiohead's finest moment, out of a career filled with very fine moments.

  • wait!! myxomatosis is not from in rainbows

  • They need to get back to vibes like this one... not too fond of the KOL jams

  • colin greenwood is such an underrated bassist.

  • OMG! He plays the guitar, piano, drums, and shakes maracas and he sings at the same time...

    *mind blown*

  • They are the Pink Floyd of our generation !!!

  • @stiveswalker I'm sad that this has thumbs up. What does that even mean?

  • @Tengent I think I might be right, must be why it has to thumbs up

  • @stiveswalker Completely irrelevant and is not answering my question. What does that even mean? Pink Floyd is a great band to anyone who thinks so. Radiohead is a great band to anyone who thinks so. I see no use in comparison.

  • @Tengent I say this because the two bands represented what was best in music in their times, in the 70's pink floyd, and radiohead today. you understand now??

  • @stiveswalker Sure, but I still don't see why anyone needs to bring any other band into the picture. Lady Gaga is the Led Zeppelin on my generation! Is there really anything wrong with that statement? I'm trying to say that you don't need to express your appreciation of an artist by referencing another group. But alas who gives a fuck. What a nice way to spend my Saturday afternoon. >:B

  • @Tengent Ζήτω η δημοκρατία!

  • GENIUS !!!

  • 1.01 - I love this moment <3 jonny looks like he forget what he should do ;p

  • Holy shit this is such an amazing version. Hail to the Thief is one of the most underrated albums in the history of recorded music. Period.

  • or a 3/4 repeating/looping riff on a 4/4 beat. fucking genius.

  • @sfd1976 it hurts to think about, i love the song though

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS THE GOD DAMN TIME SIGNATURE???????????

  • @mavman16 some 14/8 shit

  • @mavman16 Just 4/4. It just sounds royally honked up. Count it out in eighth notes and you'll get to 16.

  • 1:42 thom yorke's head very funny

  • ed has a serious case of jimmy page face @ 2:26

  • i dont get tired of any of these hundreds of views later.

  • Since the lyrics are different from 2:55 to 3:05, can anyone figure out exactly what it is?

  • @QuelMartin The "new" lyrics are: "He shook hands with the cripples and he gave them all milk. He did a few card tricks for mafia geeks, but now" and then is the final chorus.

  • @julianuary Thank you!!!

  • If anyone didn't know, Myxomatosis is some kindof a rabbit disease.

Just getting the information out there :O

  • @MyBSpace216 Thanks that's an interesting little bit of information. It give the song kind of a different perspective.

  • I'll have what they're having........

  • it starts so much faster than it ends :D

  • 2:22-2:26

Thom Yorke: Now with sweet bobblehead action.

  • I am thomosexual after hearing this...

  • @Stephane333 Standard. :)

  • SIck bass line! <3

  • anyone know which tuning the guitars are in?

  • @Stephane333 the guitar only plays on the low E string which is tuned to B... pretty low, I suggest using at least 0.10-0.46 strings... the riff is played like this: 8-5-7-3-5-1-3-0-1-/12-13----8-5-7-3-5-10-8-5-/15-10-12

    / = slide

  • Bit of Wagner goin on in the end there :)

  • @fuckyourfaceoff yo what did that mean? ive been so curious...

  • @joegamba4 Wagner was German composer. Thom was suggesting something at the end sounded like his work, I'm guessing. Probably something JG was playing.

  • @fuckyourfaceoff thanks, I've been trying to catch what he was saying for ages, undermining my self-confidence in the english language :D I'm a happier person now haha.

  • What a dirty fuzz bass sound. I love it.

  • Dance music for rockers *_* haha

  • I got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI got myxomatosis I got myxomatosis I got myxomatosisI
  • I remember hearing this song on FIFA 2004, sigh this always brings back memories

  • @jryuwah yea mate me to best memories good old days (Y)

  • It's pretty incredible the way their live music can affect you. Until they did this show I just didn't like Myxomatosis on HTTT at all. And then I got that "click" moment while watching this... and now I love the album version. That's happened with a few Radiohead songs. I don't get that with any other band.

  • @wurble i totally agree. the gloaming, and even a few off the new album i wasn't crazy about until i heard it live.

  • @wurble I unfortunately still don't like the album version. It's mostly that Thom had a monotone singing voice for it and I think that the synth should be a bit quieter in it.

  • @wurble Right on man.

  • @wurble I've had that happen too, but with a different song. I never got subdivisions by rush until I saw them live, and now it's one of my favourites of theirs. I always got the album version of myxomatosis, but I can't believe how amazing it sounds live.

  • nice one

  • Chills galore!

  • That sshit was amazing

  • estou viciado.

  • awesome

  • this song takes me to another world man. especially at the gym

  • a ja myślę że mam dosyć tego wyścigu kto da najbardziej wyjebany komentarz

Bassnoize w tym kawałku łamie kości, dziękuje

  • I cannot get over this song..

  • Thom's arm has Myxomatosis.

    In a good way.

    That sounded gross.

  • Everybody brings their fucking A-game on this tune. Hail to the Thief is great but the songs from it are like 100x better live.

  • Radiohead, the only video in youtube that sounds awesome even in 240p.

  • 1:35 dude is fuckin gettin it on the guitar

  • Bit of Wagner going on at the end there :D

  • these guys are SIC!!!! I love this !!!!

  • oh my goodness?! i gotta see them live now!!! that sound is just nastier and even more beautiful live!!! love that sound of this song!

  • thumbs up because their beats are amazing : )

  • Thom Yorke dances LIKE A BOSS.

  • @DontLookAtTheTurtle The three bosses of contemporary dance: 1. Thom Yorke 2. David Byrne 3. Jarvis Cocker.

  • Edited, Fucked Up.

    Lyrical Geniuses!

  • jonny is so hilarious :D

  • @hanusanus666 Your kidding right?

  • @thatguy203 yes. just thought I'd piss off a few hardcore radiohead fans

  • @DontLookAtTheTurtle too bad muse went in an awful direction with the last album. Compared to Showbiz, Origin, Absolution, and Black Holes, it's rubbish. They should've kept it the same.

  • @nofxrulez1 I like the Exogenesis Symphony, but none of the other songs really stand out to me. But I never really thought Muse sounded like Radiohead in the first place.

  • @nofxrulez1 It's not like King of Limbs is their final album ever. Allow them to experiment, god damnit. It has some beautiful tunes.

  • Oh yeah, because the towers of feedback and electronic sounds are so folky.

  • **typical RH fans**

  • 3:16, Devil's eyes, f***ing genius!

  • They're doing another one of these soon can't wait B-)

  • I used to dislike his song, or at least it was my least favourite, but this live version is superb. It´s unbelieveable the way they play!

  • That snare sounds MONEY

  • you can see their intensity and thoms passion.

  • what guitar is Ed using?

  • @pedromartins186 An electrical one

  • @steinarrexfaroensis just so you know, Fernandes Native Pro... don't reply bullsh*

  • @pedromartins186 I'm sorry Mr Internet Police Officer. Apparently my attempt at humor fell short. I shan't try it again.......

  • @pedromartins186 Could be a Danelectro, or a Gretsch.

  • In this song Ed's guitar sounds fucking awesome in my new speakers

  • such a cool song

  • @CatastrophicDisease Ahaha, good call

  • @ergogonewild radiohead is not "almost folky"

  • I want that bass

  • Comment removed

  • @blackbeltbrown Both.

  • I want to say this is a top 5 Radiohead song but.....it's too hard to rate them because there all so fuckin good, but this version is un fuckin believable.

  • fukin love hail to the theif!!!!!!

  • Thom spazzing out like a boss towards the middle to the end

  • Okay, can anyone send me some bass tabs for the way Colin plays? The ones on ultimate-guitar are completely different and really awkward to play.

  • i love watching people love what they do...

  • 23 thought this was a bacon and eggs convention

  • @ 3:00 thom sings a diferent line from the studio version and Ed is laughin at it xD gotta love these guys

  • @pantapdiazho Idk why that isn't in the recording. That's seriously one of my favorite lines in music, ever.

  • @kyletheenigma pls can u tell me what does he say? cus i cant tell it by myself :(

but yea that part sounds so fucking good well :D

  • @pantapdiazho he says "It wasn't my intention/I did it for a reason/Two Guns with their cripples, and I gave them all milk/'I DID A FEW CARD TRICKS FOR MAFIA GEEKS' (The mafia geeks lines is one of my favorite ever)

  • @kyletheenigma damm its really what he says :D it sounds so good idk why they didnt put those lines in the studio version... well thanks for telling me what did he said in those lines :D

  • @pantapdiazho I wish he had put it in the studio version too... and not sung like he was super bored.

  • @kyletheenigma well... i mean it IS radiohead... hes always sang that way.

  • 23 people didn't like this video. Just so everybody knows.

  • I never understood why Hail to the Thief got so much hate. It has many good songs (this, Where I End and You Begin, There There).

  • @majhankee don't forget 2+2=5, a wolf at the door, and backdrifts. 3rd favorite Radiohead album behind OK Computer and Kid A

  • @majhankee I think it's because the album was completely spastic with it's songs. There was no flow whatsoever and a good deal of the songs were filler or B-Side material. Thom Yorke released an alternate tracklisting, but I forgot what it was. Sounds much better though.

  • @majhankee I love scatterbrain its so fukin beautiful....

  • @majhankee

    Seriously. It's a great album.

  • Ohh how I never wanted to be a camera man before now.........

  • lucky ass worms near that basement

  • To the 23 people who dislike this video...It's ok. To the 1631 fellow people who liked it...Rock on :) Radiohead is awesome and we are doing a cover of Bodysnatchers. Stay ready for it!

  • is there a guy jerking off in 0.35?

  • @vicanflo That is probably the funniest thing haha.

  • @vicanflo well one things for sure...... I WOULD BE

  • jonny is fucking tough on this song

  • did any else cum in their panta when they watched this?

  • Damn that beat is SIIICCCCKKKKKK!

  • feel the music

  • feel the music.

  • 0:12 it looks like thom is going to bust out with a rime

  • Phil brings the sick beats, Colin delivers awesome bass-lines, Ed does the haunting back vocals and guitar, Johnny is great on more instruments than I can fit in here and Thom completes Radiohead with his gorgeous voice, guitar play and oh yes! his dancing. I love how they just do their thing and make awesome music.

  • Phil Selway always brings the sick beats - 15 Steps, this tune, Seperator. Top drummer who knows how to groove.

  • @julioscissors Couldn't agree more, he's very underrated, in my opinion.

  • @doorsfan173 whos underated?

  • @blackbeltbrown Phil Selway, Radiohead's drummer. I think he's very underrated. I know all the RH fans appreciate him, though.

  • @doorsfan173 without him it just wouldn't have the same effect, of course you have to appreciate him :D

  • @doorsfan173 He definitely fits Radiohead's style.

  • the first time i saw this i was really high. it was beautiful.

  • @baumen You don't need drugs to understand beautiful music, and you don't need to be a musician either. Just feel the music. I've been where you are right now, I dropped it along with drinking and smoking at the age of 15 and I'm 18 now.

  • another perfect example as to why the mostly hated LP HTTT is actually totally amazing

  • @sfd1976 Mostly hated? o_o Surprised to hear that actually, it's surely not the best of their albums and has a couple of undeveloped ideas, but both in total and considering the majority of songs it's a smashing record. Nearly a half of In Rainbows and The King Of Limbs in whole are significantly weaker IMHO.

  • hey check out this HD version with better sound :)

    watch?v=WZ_HLT1b9Wc

  • 3:03 Ed's definitely laughing at Thom's moves

  • @jibblychupos this song was released before super massive black hole. oh wait, someones already told you, nevermind. i'll post this comment anyway seeing as i'm think aloud, well, its more thinking atype. byeeee

  • Muse trolls are everywhere in these videos! :O

Seriously, get on with your lives and just accept Radiohead is more successful for a reason.
