Inflation has nothing to do with the money supply and everything to do with demand. Does the demand outstrip the ability to supply? When production is far less than capacity? As for the supposed catastrophe of taxpayers bailing out unemployed people, what's the alternative? Should they kill themselves? No safety net and the bosses can more easily suppress wages and suppress demand in the economy and cause production to be far less than capacity, which is economically speaking a total failure.

When you overspend and inflate the supply of money you have no choice but to cut services to stay within the budget that means no more war, no more SS checks and other welfare programs until you are able to spend money in a responsible manner, through inflation it destroys the incentive for people to behave responsibly, they figure the tax payers will bail us out, if i lose my job the taxpayers will bail me out, when you both rich and poor doing the same you have economic disaster.

My district, which has been run at the federal level by Democrat Shelley Berkley for what seems like forever, voted in brain dead tea baggers in both chambers. Elisabeth Halseth is a special piece of work who has less education than I do and between her and her husband, not a brain cell to spare.

Of course this is also the state that forced me to choose between Harry Reid and Sharron Angle, and boy did that one hurt.

Imagine if the presidency was a committee collective instead of one man or woman bringing in his cronies from wall street. Imagine if we did away with the general election so this committee had each and every political party represented. no secretary of state hand picked but part of the presidential committed cabinet. If on your tax form you could pick and choose a percentage (nothing lower than 1%) of your income tax goes to what goods and services. Wouldn't this be a better option...

I agree with the vast majority of the Occupy movement's demands, but this whole idea of consensus governing is ridiculous. They need more viable solutions to go along with all those grievances. Radical change needs to happen but I seriously doubt that it will come from Occupy Wall Street. It's just too little too late.

This is my favorite video Jello has produced so far! Absolutely packed with information and a good explanation of current events that are unfolding. I like Jello's idea of stepping back and taking a breather from everything if needed. Don't give up! When riot police storm Zucotti and tell us the movement is over, that's time to stand strong!
