  • Simpliemente lindo.

  • " Whoever seeks to save his life shall lose it, but whoever loses his life, shall find it." "Whoever is ashamed of ME , and MY words in this evil and adulterous generation, of them shall the Son of Man also be ashamed."

  • JESUS Said: " All men will know that you are MY disciples, (if) u have love one

for another." "if we confess our sins, HE is Faithful , Just to forgive us of our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". We Love u LORD.

  • THE BEST BAND OF THE CHRISTIAN WORLD

  • LOVE IS GOD, sending HIS Son! Says it all! Another timeless, song, from

    a timeless group.

  • A great song by one of the greatest christian rock bands of our time.

We should all love one another, one of the greatest commandments.

  • One of the best songs ever! Still moves me to tears after 21 years... I totally echo kutlass fan - this song reminds me all that is true and beautiful about Jesus.

  • SHOW DE BOLA PERCO OQUE FALAR PETRA É D+

  • speaks to the heart ... brings you to tears ... draws you closer to the Lord

  • If God is all knowing, and all powerfull, and in all placeses. Then the shedding of Christ's blood was and is salvation for all People in all Time .And God does not have favorites. He loves all of his creation.Past Present, and Future

  • My mom got saved at a John Schlitt solo concert in December of 1991. Before that she didn't really want anything to do with God and religion. She passed away from cancer in 2004 I am so glad I know that she's in heaven right now. This is why it is so important that we as Christians do things that inconvenience us when God asks, because you never know if it is someone's last day of life and they need to know Jesus.

  • i love this song...

  • To this day this song moves my heart.

  • This is my wife's favorite Petra song!! Just had to hear it today...feeling nostalgic today I guess.

  • @kutlessfan81 Honestly.. when I'm in doubt, I turn to the songs that inspired me as I was growing up... It brings back memories, and then I realize, God must be real.... I wouldn't have memories if He wasn't... :)...

  • Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus

  • Yeshua!!! :)

  • Thank you!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this song, because is about Love all time...

  • love knows when to let go, love knows when to say no...... strong stuff

  • Adoro essa música!!!!muito linda!!!!

  • It's this simple God wants us to Love and obey him if we realy love him we will obey him if we realy love devil then we will obey him by living in sin

  • Oh, the hypocrisy...

  • @Antibaryon EXACTLY! Hypocrisy! you get it! :D If you can see that in the light of Perfect Love we all look shabby, you know that Perfect Love is Absolute Truth, and we all ought to strive for it from our current failures and be humbled by this Love. Don't compare it with Christians, who are still human and failures; be struck by the beauty of the Agape (self-sacrificial, goes to all ends love) Love of Jesus, and respond personally! Nobody but you, and Jesus; Respond, and grow more like Him :)

  • @pj10323

    Not the hypocrisy I meant.

I am not at all impressed by Jesus nor I want to be more like him.

He himself is a huge hypocrite.

  • @Antibaryon Care to explain how you could possibly believe Jesus is a hypocrite when He preached dying to yourself, living to serve, and loving all men and did exactly that?

  • @pj10323

    Matthew 23:13-36 vs. Matthew 5:22

    Exodus 20:10, Matthew 5:17 vs. Matthew 12

    Luke 12:33 vs. Mark 14:3-6

Matthew 15:22-26 - loving ALL men?

Blood sacrifice and substitutional atonement are sick concepts.

How forgiving is someone who requires a blood sacrifice as payment when he can easily avoid it and just forgive? How forgiving is someone who tortures his enemies? And how hypocritical is someone who tortures his enemies while preaching forgiveness?

  • @Antibaryon Ok thank you for taking the time to respond to me, I'm gonna go over each of your examples in the Gospels: To the first, be reasonable, He was among the pharisees and gentle as a lamb for years, and they persecuted Him endlessly, as well as being all the things He accuses them of in Matthew 23. The point of Matthew 5 is that unwarranted, quick anger and angry words are equivalent with hatred, which is equivalent with murdering the person in your heart. Jesus never anywhere says or

  • @Antibaryon acts like He hates those who are His enemies; on the contrary, He says to love our enemies (Matthew 5:44) and He does love His enemies; He prays for them as they nail Him to the cross! (Luke 23:34) Also, it is unloving and unbecoming of a Prophet of God (see Ezekiel 33:7-9) to not warn men in love when they are foolishly rejecting God or going down the path of death. So Jesus' rebuke of the pharisees in Matthew 23 is just, loving, NOT in haste or in temper, and thus it isn't

  • @Antibaryon at all hypocritical-surely you can see that it isn't unjust of Him to sternly and at great patience warn and rebuke men who are on a path that leads to death? It also is not in contradiction to His own morals in Matthew 5 because as I said, the point of that passage is not that all rebukes that involve the word "fool" or "foolish" are evil, but rather that hatred, undeserved anger and temper that start in the heart and are expressed in hateful words are evil. Now to the next example:

  • @Antibaryon Yes, breaking the Sabbath is wrong, however, read past the pharisees' accusations in Matthew 12 and read Jesus' response, with illustrations from the Old Testament, which show why in this instance His disciples are not guilty of breaking that commandment, but are innocent. Also read Mark 2:27, which sheds a little more light on the subject. The point is that God is merciful, and that breaking the commandments is an issue of the heart first and foremost, and of rebellion against God.

  • @Antibaryon Jesus Christ did come to fulfill the Law and the Prophets, and not to destroy them, but His point is not destruction of the commandment of the Sabbath day in Matthew 12, but rather mercy on those who do not deserve judgment. Far from being hypocritical, this is a righteous, just, and merciful attribute of Jesus Christ! God desires mercy, love, truth, reverence for God, and true righteousness from His people over condemning the innocent, and is gracious to those whose hearts are right

  • @Antibaryon with Him. I have to go for the night, but I'm definitely not finished; so in case you read this before I continue responding, I will definitely be back asap :)

  • @Antibaryon Ok, continuing :) Yes, Jesus is saying in Luke 12:33 that it is good to not amass wealth for yourself on this earth only to hoard it, but to give to the poor and needy, that you have treasure in heaven and so that your heart will be on heaven and not on the htings of this world. However, what you need to understand is that in Mark 14:3-6, there is a symbolic element there that makes this a special case. In the Old Testament Scriptures, the coming Messiah was portrayed as a

  • @Antibaryon Prophet (Deuteronomy 18:15,) a Priest (Psalm 110:4,) and a King (Zechariah 9:9, Micah 5:2, Isaiah 9:6.) In ancient Hebrew custom, each of these offices were ceremonially and symbolically anointed with oil. In fact, the very name "Messiah" mean "Anointed One." This is a symbolic example of Jesus being anointed and declared the true King of Israel, the Messiah, before He was put to death very shortly after by the Jews and the Romans. Also, read John 12:1-8 which gives another account

  • @Antibaryon of this event. This account in John 12 also sheds light that it was Judas Iscariot who led the disciples in wanting to "give the money to the poor," when in reality John says that he just wanted to steal some of it, as he had access to the bag that they kept the money in that they collected for the poor (John 12:6.) One last reason why this isn't hypocrisy is, note what Jesus says after verses 3-6, in verses 7-8. He says that this was also to symbolize that He was to die at the hands

  • @Antibaryon of the Jews: "For you have the poor with you always, and whenever you wish you may do them good; but Me you do not have always." Obviously, this is not hypocrisy. Last example you gave: Again, theology is needed here to understand the background to this. In the time of Israel in the Old Testament, the Jews were God's chosen people, who were called to follow Him in monotheism. One of the reasons Christ came, died, and rose again was to expand this relationship to all, Jew or otherwise

  • @Antibaryon anyone who believed on Him could follow the true God through Him. At this time in the gospel account, Jesus had not rose from the dead yet and, before that time, in His earthly ministry, Jesus came only primarily to heal Israel, as He was sent first to them because again, they were God's people, called to follow Him alone. It was the role He had as their Messiah (Romans 1:16.) That is why He is reluctant to help her, because during His earthly ministry, He was the Messiah of Israel.

  • @Antibaryon Read John 1:11-13 for a clear, concise layout of this. No hypocrisy there, He died in order to give her life, He very much loved her. Now, yikes, the next statement and three questions would take probably as many messages as I've already left here to answer, so I'm probably going to send you a message about all of that. Bear with me if I'm a little slow, I have a ton on my plate and not a lot of time to go into the tank on this stuff, but I am happy to do it :) God bless.

  • @pj10323 You can't avoid the hypocrisy and immorality of this by quoting yet another conflicting verse.

  • @pj10323 That is neither clear nor concise.

And it most certainly is not an answer to my objections.

    I am waiting...

  • que video mas hermoso

  • This song.... wow. Most people do not realize the scope of these words. This is not a love song for newlyweds or lovers, this is not about the relationship between a parent and child, this is about every single one of us learning to love one another unconditionally. When Christ said to Love one another as I have loved you, he meant every single soul on this planet, not just a particular religion or faith... :)

  • 1 Corinthian 13:4-7

  • Greetings Everyone...!!! I'm from Indonesia..., n' I want to say in Indonesian language that this song is " .....Luar Biasa..... " thanks for uploading it UnknownPetraFan...your a great guy...Lord Jesus Bless All Of Us, every nations, tribe n' tongue...

  • masterpiece

  • muzica adevarata din dumnezeu si plina de dragostea lui slava Domnului

  • wowowow,, eu ainda tenho meu LP kkkk

  • My parents used to play this band for me when I was little. I enjoyed the sound but now that I am older, the words still minister to me. So strange how a band's lyrics that existed 30 years ago still shakes the foundation of my heart. Even before that, the first book of the Bible written, Job, is over 3,000 years old. Indescribable how it still holds so much power. Genesis is also a testimony to this. "Let there be...."

  • one of best love song ive heard...it says it all

  • Its the world that against and hated GOD! but GOD had never hated the world, remember after his creation he was please to what he had made! its why jesus come to humanity representing Gods unconditional love for us,remember we are the world, we are the children, what is the earth without us? its like your aquarium empty of fish right?point is, its us who had sin and hate him and he LOVE US all the way long up to this generation.

  • No greater love hath a man, than a man give his life...John 15:13

  • what a beautiful song and with good reason its taken right out of the bible in corinthians knows as the love chapter

  • Petra is the best!

  • OKCJoecephus, my point is obviously that ALL secular news channels are exactly that: SECULAR news channels. ALL are contrary to Jesus Christ, because Jesus Christ is contrary to the world. Yes, the overly repeated but never actually followed line in youth groups is "be in the world, not of it." Fox News is OF THE WORLD. CNN is OF THE WORLD. MSNBC is OF THE WORLD.

NONE of them are on the side of Christ. ALL of them are in some way or another supportive of some thing that is against Christ.

  • @Cartesiantheater if God is against the world, why did God create it?

If I listen to secular music, than I'm against God?

It is an alienated thought and the world is so much more than reigion! You should care about the world you're living, instead of thinking about a silly heaven you're supposed to go when you die! Think about the things you'll do while you're ALIVE, don't think about the death!

  • @travelerintime11 thats bull, you can love God and listen to anything you wish,be in the world not of it,its how and what you do when you listen or do anything, all glory is and belongs to God,but would you not rather not listen to music that exaults God ,or satan?its your choice God has always givin you that.hope that helps,God bless

  • usually I don't like music which worships satan, but usually I don't listen to music which worship anything ;)

  • The world that the Bible is talking about is explained in 1 John. The world is not the same as the earth, as you are mistaking it. The world according to Yahshuah is the "lust of the flesh, eyes, and the pride of life". Not the earth, the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.

  • @divine137 oh mother earth

  • @Cartesiantheater does that not sound as somthing of the world, and that is typical, they will reep what they sew?remember the splinter and the log?love you in OUR LORDGODbless yours the nightman

  • I wonder what Faux News wannabe's are? I know I speak for myself, I believe and follow things that line up with the Bible. If that includes watching Fox News, so be it, atleast Fox isn't hellbent on destroying Christian values and morals.

  • @OKCJoecephus

Name a news channel that is... /facepalm

Fox news tends to support conservative values. Conservative values include telling a homeless person to get a job instead of giving him money out of your pocket when he asks.

Jesus said, and I quote, "Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again."

Oh, but that doesn't count, right?

    Christians... I don't even... : shrugs:

  • @OKCJoecephus don't bother, OKCJpecephus

Cartesiantheater are just a fanatic and blinkered guy, he thinks all that isn't christian is bad!

You won't go to hell just for watching "secular" channels. We must watch the news, it isn't a sin!

  • @OKCJoecephus is just a fanatic and blinkered*

  • If only Christians practiced what this song reveals. Instead we have Faux news wannabes.

    How sad!

  • There are different kinds of love, and the greek word "agape" is one of many words describing love. It's more than charity and it's more than love. I would say charity isn't strong enough either. Even sinners can be charitable to counter the gay men statement. In fact, I know people who don't know God that are doing more for the world than a lot of Christians today.

  • I have always LOVED this song - doesn't get much better

  • Amazing song. Thanks for posting! :)

  • Maravilhoso, Deus é bom demais. Brazilian.

  • Love the best thing i loved this girl for too long since than i hadnt seen her in a long time than i met again with her she gaved me a chance and we both "LOVE" EACH OTHER,: YOU ARE THE BEST JASMINE FERNANDEZ I LOVE YOU YOUR BOY FRIEND MARCOS RODRIGUEZ

  • amoooooooooooooo

  • love this song!

  • Wake Up Chrisitians!!!! This song is more than a feel good melody. This is what those who dispise and discredit God's every word are fighting against. Songs that are scripture based are the most powerful message for not only believers , but for non believers as well. This song, when it was written and even more today, represents the true power and unconditional love that come from christ our lord and savior. It is only by God's spoken word that convicts, consoles and comforts.memorization is key

  • Wake Up!

Thanks wannabgirrly for your blessings words. God bless you. You are right, memorization is key.

  • Cue: "Wake-up Call," eh!? :)

  • @wannabgirrly I believe that without God one will never ever know this type of love...a NON believer who denies love could never know the God who declares himself as love....1 John 4:8.

  • @N3OST nor do they understand or will accept.

  • @wannabgirrly God's Love is not unconditional. That message has given many a false sense of security concerning the salvation offered by God. God has requirements and rewards for obedience and disobedience. Amos 3:3 "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" God is Love, but He is also a righteous God. Proverbs 11:19 "As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death." A christian without their Bible and repentance is not a Disciple. Or in Love.

  • It's good to know these guys' ministry is still reaching out...but I miss Petra......

  • That makes two of us. They were extremly good, and i have a hard time finding christian bands/groups today that come evn close to their level.

  • É o que devemos fazer realmente amar a DEUS sobre todas as coisas, e o próximo como a nós mesmos !!

  • look to the cross this is the power of Gods love to send his only begotten son for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!this is the power of his love!!!!

  • You too dance this song in your weeding? I do! - ¿Tú también bailaste con esta canción en tu boda? ¡Yo lo hice!
