It's mostly about how you use the scale settings and such. It takes ALOT of fooling around to get good results but you get used to it. What were your settings (all of them) to make it sound like that?

i used the "PULSE" setting .. put the the "Pulse Width" about half way .. put echo vol. a bit under half way, added just a bit more echo time and put echo repeat up just a tad more and overdrive just a bit under half way .. thats the sound

I had to copy and past that .. haha .. i couldnt remember .. but thats what i used! :D .. let me know if you have any problems! ;D

Thanks a lot, I've now got some more awesome sounds out of this amazing app! The rudess style really shows through (although I don't think he'd be very happy to find people playing like him using an ipod app)

Nop, the iPhone only detects the skin. No Stylus or anything else.

Actually you can wrap aluminum foil around a pencil and stick a brass thumb tack through it (or just form a flat 1/4 inch nib with the end of the foil). The iPhone discards a touch any smaller than 1/4 radius (about 30 pixels).

excellent work! recently bought the app and love it altho my girlfriend does NOT appreciate it. What were your settings for this piece? IE which notes did you select and which instrement etc? Would love to emulate what you did :) thanks, Rob.

haha .. yeah i wouldn't expect anyone without a musical background to appreciate this wonderful app. .. i mean think about it .. to her its just making noise .. lol .. she doesnt hear the notes that we hear .. anyways ..

as for the notes .. i switched them around during the video .. so the first part of the video i used just the good old fashion Em Pentatonic with b5 .. ehh .. blues scale .. and then during the middle part of the video i think i kept everything the same and added the 2nd .. which would be F# .. and during the last part of the video .. i had to just refigure out .. but im pretty sure i just used the I, II, bIII, IV, and bVII ..

.. if you have no idea what im talking about .. just let me know ..
