  • can someone tell me if there was a club down in Brighton that was called 'Paradox' or something like that? i saw Sasha play this live when it came out and Maria came out of a massive inflated ball to belt out the first line..... or maybe it was all a dream.....

  • this is music! >Schijfkeeeeeeee

  • This was the first tune I heard at the first ever post-club after rave I went to. this was booming out the basement of a 3 story house ... I was 15, good times indeed & amazing tune! Still sounds fresh today .

  • Alexander Coe @ his best... Haunting vocals from Maria Naylor too. Class! Still sounds great 15 years later. Absolute classic.

  • Where's the dubstep part ? JOKING !! I can remember so many 7 am sunrise sessions with this and so many other classics leading the way. Love it.

  • all time classic sashas finest ave got this on a test pressing maybe worth a few bob.

  • @MrJmg25 best tune I've ever heard in a long time yeoooooo... Alex Coe is a genius!!!!

  • I really feel sorry for the new skool kids out there who will never be able to appreciate EPIC CLASSICS like this one and so many others. Wow how times change and we so often loose sight of where we come from and where things truly started to take off!!!

  • where is the time?

  • Maria Nayler had a fantastic voice!

  • CHILLZZZ!!!!! I got this shit on wax when it came out! Play it as often as possible..Minus the mind altering drugs....To this day, still get the same feeling! Classic, for sure!

  • Bomba Mega RetroTrack LEGENDARY memories 1996 !!!

  • They had already dropped fools gold in the small room, everyone piled intot he main room for the closing tracks and Robert Miles was dropped, people were in tears of ecstasy and then over the mic we were asked do you want one more.... screams, whistles chanting clapping, stomping sheer hedonsitic delight and so we were treated to this and Oakenfold came from behind the decks and just stood on the stage and danced with us. I still get rushes remembering it.

  • makes the hairs on the bck of your neck stand up leathal tune

  • No se porque vuelvo en estos tiempos a sentir esta musica en el alma como hace 15 años años, siento que es buen momento para volver a mezclar estos temas en la pista de baile, saludos! VENGA SASHA!!!!!!!!! VIVA!!!!!!!

  • really punchey smooth and vocals spot on 14 years on..

  • thursday nights at madisons in bournemouth . the start of many a mad weekend

  • @frankiefrontbottom Thursday's at Madisons.... the best way to start the weekend! Opera House on Friday and then, for me, the highlight was all about Saturday night at The Manor.

  • I am sorry but they just dont make songs like this anymore. If someone said to me 'what is the last song you would want to listen to before leaving this earth?' This would be it. Magical. Transports me to the good ole 'daze.'

  • i love the way this progresses all the way through sashas best

  • Listen here, from Dublin. This for me is Sasha most brilliant and poignant production Ever. Naylors vocals are to die for. even better than S McLuaghlan in this case. Sweet sweet, tasty 90's tune. Thanks again Sasha, you are God. Long live the memories of the 90's......

  • the biggest tune of '96' for me..

  • Rennaissance, under the Kings X arches off York Way. Many an epic night there listening to this live.

  • 8:18 image is EPIC

  • im 36 (doesnt seem possible) and i feel sorry for the current clubbing generation.. they will never witness something as epic as this.. all this R&B/rap Radio1 plays now is just shocking.. i cant recall ever seeing 1 fight in a club, people were there for 1 reason.. good times!. great music and a great atmosphere, i shook 100's of people hands i've never seen since.. do that now and you'll be pulling a blade out of your chest :(

  • @Mark291074 hi there im 26 and although theres ten years between us i can relate to what you feel even in my teens hearing stuff like this and groing up in the 90s was just an intensely poetic time todays generation are just to easily brainwashed ,

    jah bless friend

  • @Mark291074 You're not wrong. Great times then.

  • @Mark291074

You've summed it all up perfectly mate!

  • @Mark291074

Just turned 45 here - I feel the same way. My daughter went to Ultra in Miami last year - a far cry from the days of warehouses, beach parties and being in the midst of something amazing...

  • @cypherks have you ever been to Winter Music Conference? Its the closest thing you will ever experience to those days. The cool thing is its a lot of people our age that have been into club music since back in the day. Ultra is just the closing party for WMC. The real story in Miami every year isn't Ultra. Thats just the part that everybody knows about, but its just one of hundreds of parties that go on all day and all night for a week every year. This year its 10 days long.

  • @cypherksYou wanna talk about being in the middle of something amazing? Seriously, rent a room in South Beach for 2-3 days and get to WMC. Its different than when we were going out but it is a lot of people our age that have been into dance music since those early days. The difference is rather than it being just local, its people from all over the world coming together to get down to the top DJ talent from all over the globe. Parties going morning, noon and night.

  • @cypherks you can just pick and choose which shows you wanna see, and a lot of great shows you can easily get in for free by just emailing the promoter and asking to be guest listed, if its not already free for everyone. You can literally go to party after party without ever paying to get in. Of course there are shows that are worth paying to get into as well, but the free shows are still top DJ talent. I've met people there from Britain, Scotland, Canada, Lebanon, Italy, Germany, you name it

  • @cypherks all there just to get down to house music. In 08 I saw a Hope Recordings show with Dave Seaman and Nick Warren and it was one of the top 5 musical experiences of my life. Like I said, its different than what we experienced in the early 90's, but I promise you you'll leave there thinking, "DAMN, I can't believe that still goes on ANYWHERE!" Really, there is nothing else like it in the world today, and if you're a fan of EDM then you need to experience it at least once.

  • @mmontes15

Yeah, I've heard all about WMC. I really need to make it down there soon. LOVE LOVE LOVE Nick Warren and Way Out West. Glad to hear things are still A-L-I-V-E!

  • @Mark291074 im not surprised you ate all the good pills you greedy fuck but hey the music lives on

  • @Mark291074 Agree mate its all the wrong message in the tunes now, its about the "bitches" n the money. The 90s clubbing scene was a great time, well chilled n just about enjoying yourself. People have too much of a front and n image these days to be friendly
