I'm no way near a fan of this kind of music, and much prefer to break my neck headbanging to some metal, but Blur just do it for me.

From an outsiders point of view, Blur are far superior to Oasis. I'm baffled as to why Oasis are more popular but as if that matters. If record sales meant anything then you couldn't argue that Britney is more talented than Blur and we all know that isn't true. Blur have 4 individually talented members. Oasis have one... and he's now left!

Look, I like Oasis, but there is no denying that they have been repeating themselves for almost 15 years, to ever diminishing returns. Blur, like Radiohead, managed six really GREAT records. Oasis had 1 or 2 good records. There is simply no comparison - Blur were a much better band.

Record sales don't matter in this discussion. If they did, then Creed would be better than Sonic Youth, the Pixies, and My Bloody Valentine all put together. That kind of logic is just silly.
