LOL . . the "director" is the mother (me) who shot her sons solo because her digital camera only had memory for the 90 seconds he played in the beginning of the piece. He was "featured" throughout the entire song which was approximately 10 minutes and no one is more dissappointed that I couldn't film all of it more than me. For the record, the entire jazz band performed marvelously and it can be heard on the cd that Rockville recorded at the spring Jazz concert.
ah...ok, well, being that the original composition -- "Two seconds till Midnight" features guitar solo-ing throughout the song, the commenter's point is erroneous. In the evenings repotoire, all the best instrumentalists were featured, unfortunately many of the better musicians graduated the year before and so the director features the strengths he has.

I love how directors always stick over distorted guitar solos in every nook of this song instead of highlighting the whole bands preformance.
