i have flat feet myself my foot dr make me something that i put in my shoes and he told me to wear them for a hr a day until i get used to them and til this day im still in pain this was a long time ago so should i get the surgery or should i go to the dr and see what else they can do for me

I had this surgery in 2009 August. I had it removed 6 months later. I was unable to walk between that time. A bone on the top of my foot ended up fracturing. The DPM used a size 10, which is the largest they make, in my foot. Many of his patients are having to have it undone. I have pretty bad pain, usually on a daily basis where he cut the ligament. I went in his office for him to look at it, he gave me a nerve block, hit the nerve right on and bent the needle in my foot when it reflexed.

i think i am having sirgery this monday on my foot they will slice my hip open and then take a bit of my pelvis out and than slice my foot open and put it in there

i had to get surgery for a flatfoot problem. except i had no arch in my foot, and i had an extra bone where my arch should be. so the doctors cut out the bone, and fixed the ligaments, muscles, and tendons.

I got that kind of surgury the diffirence is that they cut my leg in half and put a metal plate in the middle of it. Oh and I still have my whole leg if your wondering

@PrincessBeautyLounge You don't feel any pain. They put you to sleep during the surgery. It's only a 10 minute procedure. I had it done
