you gotta remember the game is tryna be fair and realistic. in the game you get stop around the 20 yard line just like you would in real life. the cant bring the blockers closer to you kuz then you would have too much protection so they put them farther away to make it more realistic to make it more challenging and a more realistic yard gain. it is possible to return one so i think its perfect.

@CombatLegsVIDS It still isn't perfect blocking though, and it won't be until it's realistic. It shouldn't be easy to return kicks (Madden 12 makes it super hard), but that doesn't mean that the blocking should be unrealistic.

this ain't the 12 version! In the 2012 version, the circle arround the ball in the replay is kind of yellow, and with two stripes touching each other, not a red circle with a lot of red cubes in the round. This can be the 2010 version, where the guys block just for a second, or the 2011 version, where the guys block for two seconds. He does'nt know how 2 play, so he criticizes an older version, saying it is madden nfl 12

This is all done for the special teams, if you have a good kick returner like DA BEARS and Devin Hester you'll see that they stay on there block a little longer. You have to earn it, it just can't be givin to you.. if the raiders special teams does better this year you'll notice it on Madden 13. i use to notice that when DA BEARS has shitty SP, until D.Hester got there. Now he's unstopable on Madden 11.. .

Great video Versuz, I been saying this for years. Blockers are supposed to guide the returner and clear or make a path, not just run and "engage" with a coverage guy downfeild. Not to mention you can hardly call it blocking, since they mainly push the defender once and then they get by.

They need the blockers to drop back and not stand in the same place because then the blocks would be closer to the returner and a shorter block for the linemen up front so the blocks could be mad, but it would cause a lot of bunching making it hard to get a TD, which it is SOS
