I´ve seen Mark Knopfler live twice and the audience had to sit down during the concert (!), it was almost impossible to stay seated and I almost fell off my chair because I jammed so hard :D. Great concerts, both in Helsinki, Finland ´05 and ´08. The man´s a genius.

Absolutly horrible. Dire Strights should be ashamed of themselves for this performance. No wonder they were always a "B" band performer. This is terrible. Singing too fast, off key with guitar, and moving too quickly. Sounds nothing like original. Maybe they were going for that, but when you are known for an albulm version of a song, don't butcher it at a big perforfmance like this, wow. Very disappointed.

First of all - THAT'S how a Strat should sound.

Second of all - 1985. I was ten years old. It was hot as hell outside, just like it is today. We had the shades down and the AC cranked, it was totally chill. We sat and watched Live Aid all day. Taped it too, and I watched this Dire Straits tune about a million times. Now, I've been a guitar player for 20 years. Sometimes enough to pay all the bills, sometimes not. But it never would've happened at all without having seen things like this.
