  • The composer abandoned the project, and so should we. There's very little Donizetti in any of these versions, even Thomas Schippers'. It's even more frustrating to see Angelo casto e bel included, and credited to Donizetti in several tenor compilations.

  • Its a revival of the Visconti production of 1959 i believe.
