Will have to check it out! I am always looking for the perfect mascara. I read in the comments that it doesnt flake which is a plus. I have very thin, straight, sparse, clear blonde lashes so finding the right mascara is tough. Thanks!

Very informative. Thank you. I just discovered you this afternoon: your coloring is so pretty, especially your eyeshadow, your hair (love the cut, too!), as well as your cheeks and lip color!! I am probably about your age; my hair is sort of mousy brown with reddish highlights, I am freckled fair skin, which has seen many years of the sun so my face is not all that light anymore. Looking around for makeup ideas and tips for older women (I'm 62) I found your video. You have beautiful coloring and I love your hair style. Is it a certain type of style I could ask my hairdresser for? Also, I had trouble with eye lash curlers too until I bought the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. It really surprised me. I was able to get all my eyelashes in the curler without pinching my eye. It's a bit extra cash for it but it's worth it. I think the brown mascara is perfect for you!

I'm glad I found someone like U that does youtube for more mature women. I know U said that U tried all the mascaras out there. I'd thought I had too! I did some research & found the girls with the eyelashes stick straight down(not like ours) use an Asain Prouduct.So I thought will if it works so well for them it might work wonderful on us! So I went to an Asian makeup line in Nordstroms(a high end dept store) &I bought Shiseido's Uplifting/Curling Waterproof mascara & that stuff is great!Try it

Hi Katherine,

I heard in your video that you don't really know how to curl your eyelashes, or it comes out in a crimped shape. Why don't you try clamping the eyelash curler several times up the length of your lashes to give it a more natural shape? I hope that helped a little!

@kristenisashrimp Thanks for the tip, but I have tried that also, this is just something I have never grasped, plus I also remarked that sometimes I pinch my lid or a pull eyelashes, and the biggest issue for me, is I get nervous putting that tool thingy near my eye. Probably will never be my cup of tea..fingers work for me ;~)

@knowledgablequest It is a great product and I identified the odor as reminding me of pyrethrins which is made from chyrsanthemums. This really had me stumped until I figured this out. Also my Eye lashes are growing in beautifully since this is not a waterproof mascara. I updated the video to reflect these key notes.

@princessyenio yes it stays on quite well and doesn't flake at all. Just know that it is not the waterproof version.
