@LATQueens Have a look on wikipedia. As far as I can make out J Dilla did a demo version of the song, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis basically copied the overall idea and produced their version which ended up on the album and Dilla got no credit for his part.

Never heard this before! I didn't like the original of this at the time, I actually thought it was straight garbage and that's why I've never come across this remix. But this mix is true Dilla and it SHITS all over the original!!! "Revenge" is right LMAO!

No one could swing their drums like this back then other than him. I had to stop listening to his production for 2 years at this time because every beat he dropped made me feel depressed about my amateur attempts at beat-making!
